Guide: removing logos/watermarks without leaving a big ugly blur
Just something I was playing around with, thought I'd share.
Example:

Draw a b/w mask in MS Paint or whatever:

Get AviSynth and the AVSInpaint plugin.
Use the following script:
Result:code:
loadCplugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\AVSInpaint.dll") AVISource("cam-rambo-wprp-sample.avi") msk=ImageSource("mask.bmp").converttoyv12 inpaintlogo(mask=msk)

That's pretty fucking neat you flash bastard!

Heh. Thanks.
That's just a quick demonstration. There's still a bit of a halo around where the text used to be, because there's a bit of ringing in the original Xvid.
It should be possible to get better results by adjusting the mask and/or the additional inpaintlogo() parameters.
But why is it that [IMG] tags don't work in this part of the forum? They seem to work in General Discussion.
Awesome, how did you discover this?
Thats pretty cool , well done dude.
