AR on older HDTV.
I just recently purchased A Mitsubishi Projection TV (DLP, Model WS-48511, Manufactured: November 2002) and for some reason the AR is off. I was playing GTAIV and the circle map on the bottom was almost cropped at the bottom left and the bottom, as was the cell phone..as far as I know there is no way to adjust the tv, up, down or whatever. And when in HD you cannot change the view (i.e. standard, stretched, et cetera). Is this nornal for older HD tvs?
See if you can find a service manual and go into the engineers menu.. sounds like the geometry is off which isn't uncommon with projection TVs. you can cause more damage than good in that menu tho, so be careful.. but once calibrated it should look a lot better.

Yeah that's overscan, what's the source of that image? A PC perchance?
