Its a little light and then dark though

decesions decesions. wait 2 more days to see in theator or now....AHH! Is it worth the quality? its not that good. Sound has a hiss but as stated about it can be fixed with stero tweaking. Pic is a little dark but still very watchable.

i have REALLY downloaded this

unlike some others i have really got this film
it is okish
similar in quality to the release of xmen 2 by esoteric
the sound is ok, it sounds direct and the pic is clear if a little washed out and dark/light flickering

i must say this isnt the best "TSes" i've seen..neither is it the worst.
vid is well..acceptable. sound has mad hissing. imma repeat what i said to countless channels and tell u guys to just spend a few bucks to watch it in a cinema. for those of you who can't wait...

sound is one of those.."we'll get used to it" sorta thing. Vid's a bit dark, but, in general, its "OK". better than the cam i was expecting, im still going to go see it at the movies.

Burned the sample. Surprisingly good for a pre, and much better than I expected from ESO. Yes, it's a tad dark, and it could be sharper, but I didn't notice much of a hiss-- perhaps I never turned my treble back up from the last time I heard a hiss. The reviews here have been positive, for a reason. GREAT JOB ESO, you brought us a watchable pre!

yep its a bit noisy.... and its a bit dark... but its watchable and a killer film

The hiss is a bitch. Picture is too flicker. I'll wait 9 and a half hours till I see it in theaters. Nice effort, but you know tons of better releases will be out soon.
*Update*Saw movie. Better then first. You will be VERY confused when you leave the theater (or whatever) but in a good way. It has a cliff hanger to beat all cliff hangers. Its gonna take a while to understand what happend, but man GREAT show. Somebody please pre Revolations ASAP!

I just watched the sample and it is no where near as bad as some people are saying. There is a slight flicker (I've seen ALOT worse.) and I don't quite hear the hiss everyone is talking about. The audio at least in the sample is nice and clear.

Sample isn't that impressive, 4/3/? waiting and waiting.....and waiting to find out. Curious though does this have the 30 second preview of matrix revolutions after the movie?

Just grabbed the sample, video is a little dark but watchable, and the sound has a small hiss thats kind of annoying, but also watchable. All around, a nice pre. 6\5\? (I love how everyone gives this movie a 10 or "anything higher then a 10" when most havent even seen it yet. WATCH the movie before you rate it, to give it 10's just because its the Matrix.)

Decent quality for a TS, pic is clear but a tad dark (slightly tilted). Audio is direct. But in my opinion even a CTP TS wouldn't do this movie justice unless a screener or dvdrip is available (it'd be too tilted/cropped around the sides). But props anyways ESO, 5/6/11

well I just watched a bit of the first cd whille i wait for cd2 to finish. I dont know why this has been nuked on some sites... theres nothing wrong with the release... its a standard TS.... massive props to eso for winning the race and brining us this pre 1 day early.

There is a hiss and its a bit dark at times. But I have seen worse TS's.

mad props to eso, phone booth, dreamcatcher, xmen2, matrix reloaded all pres (in the us) great job again this is decent quality not as nice as xmen2 but still watchable (from sample). sound is acutally pretty good, could be not direct source but still decent.

Ok, i just finished watching the whole movie, and here is how it goes:

First your met with an unzoomed cam, (you can actually see the fireexit) then it zooms in, but audio sounds really bad.
Audio stays really bad for the first 29 minutes, then during a scene with neo and trinity (im not gonna mention what they do), i get a bluescreen for 0,5 second, then BOOM, audio turns into the sweetest thing ever. This audio keeps going the rest of the movie, and the only problems after this, is occational "drumming" like when dumb people are testing microphones.

This is definetly not a cam, for whoever says that. And all the rumors that you can hear people eating popcorn or whatever is plain bulls***. There are not one interfearance in front of the camera whatsoever (of people walking by,etc), thru the entire movie.

But as posted earlier, slight angle, and a bit dark video.

There is a hiss that makes the sound quality drag..
The dark picture makes me wish I had a better copy for the action scenes.
but hell it is still a pre.. 1 day early for me.

Yah, the sample is good.. but not good enough.. I think I'll shell out some cash for this one before I download any of the many versions I am sure will be put out.

Sound is a little hissy and tinny.

But..

If you're really dying to see it early and bug your friends, I say go ahead and download'er.

I Used Optical Output sound, with picture on progressive scan, didnt hear any hissing so far in first 10 minutes of film.
Worthy of viewing so I can focus on the Special effects and not the plot when I see it in theatres :P

Judging from the sample, it looks alright. However, I don't know how it appears in the action scenes, the sample wasn't a great judgment. I hate how the color gets light and then dark, that factor pisses me off. Audio isn't horrible, but it isn't great. It has a little hiss. This is on par with other ESO releases, and basically, is on par with the average telesync (lol...or should I say CAM). 5/5/x

Picture isnt as bad as everyone is saying (as long as you up the brightness) , Sound is a little hissy at times but not once could I not understand what was being said , everything else was on par. Props for the early release

eso watch the flick next time the sound is horrid and its missing so muchhhhh

Being a Matrix fan, I couldnt wait for any further releases, so had to get the first that came out. I got to say that its watchable, but straining at times, the sound could have been much better it wasnt really hollow on my player, but more muffled like there was something over the mic. The Pic could have been done a bit brighter and less grainy. Also it seems at times near the end of the first CD the encoding was not well done cause the player seemed to jump to the beginning of the movie and I had to rewind to get it to work right. But I'll be waiting for the DVDRip before I get another release.

the picture quality of the film is completely watchable through my xbox and on my tft, 3 minor split second glitches but wtf can u expect from a ts

the sound was clear as long as i turned bass down and surround mode on (again maybe a couple of minor glitches)

Not that bad

I didn't think this release was that bad at all...very watchable indeed. I just got it onto a dvd player with the brightness turned up to full. The film itself is a pleasure to watch. It really leaves you thinking about the possibilities at the end. I hope that the next part won't let it down but I can't see that happening either. Now I just can't wait!!!

hmm just like to know why this got nuked considering it was a day pre and the first release, and also it was very watchable, if youre gonna nuke an eso release try basic not this one. this is highly watchable, i saw this release last night and saw the movie in theaters today and i can say honestly i didnt miss a thing, great job eso, shouldnt be nuked.

I dont think many people watched this release all the way through, this release is very watchable but kind of annoying

First few seconds of the movie is zoomed out and very horrible audio, the audio patch comes in, the levels on the audio clip a little but overall good. A little into the release one channel went out but came back later, the camera is shaken slightly throughout the whole movie, the second disk brings several new problems, the camera again zooms in and out during the part where they are looking for the keymaker, the cameraman keeps adjusting for a good 2-3 minutes, and ends up with the camera angled, the camera stays angled through the remainder of the movie

overall decent release, watchable

In the first few minutes, a bit of setup (zoomin, center, etc) but then it was fine throughout the rest, essentially. A momentary blue blip here or there.

No sound was missing that I could tell, certainly not lots. At most, 3 seconds spread throughout both CDs

I had to decrease contrast alot and increase the brightness all the way to get the best picture.

Considering I had the first half the night before its release here, this was great.

The movie itself was a big disappointment though...total crap.

I watched this release last night and it is a prity decent copy.
The sound is dogy for the first 5 mins but then cleans up alot.
There is No missing segments of sound on my copy.
The picture quality is reasonable enough even in the action sequences ( of wich there are meny).
as for the film does not live up to the hype, most of the film is taken up with people hanging on ropes kicking people, Seen it beffore (rember you did it in The Matrix).

Yeah, everyone turn your bass down for this release. There is no loss of sound as I have watched through the movie myself once and my brother watched it again.

Just finished watching this and not bad.. little dark, little off, sound qual ok.. I'd go 5/5/10 (10 only cause I'm a Matrix junkie). Taking my mom out this weekend to see it in the theater.. as that is the only way you can truly appreciate a movie like this.

Props to ESO for getting the first copy out.

Ok, my short take:

Watched all the way thru, from svideo out to my 24" tv with powerDVD (if anyone cares!).

Picture: For a TS release it's pretty good - not too much waiting for the Cam to adjust to light/dark quick (which is nice). No noticable annoying angle (save the couple of bits in the break of the discs but that's soon sweet). Yup, grainy but you get over it as the film draws you in. So 6 - only cos the rips will inevitably be higher.

Sound: Yeah, not too good. Screws around at first but settles to a reasonable quality (not Direct quality but listenable without being distracting). I wasn't bothered by hiss as I found there was not a lot of treble in the soundtrack anyway due to the quality, so lowering the treble to cut the hiss doesn't really impact on the overall sound. 4.5

Film: Good, lots of fights but does have the stop gap feel. Lots of unanswered bits (some of which Animatrix helps), lots of waffle, and more fights. Oh, and some fights too. 8 (Revoultions will be the one (!))
