What a load of crap. Video is pixilated, grainy and blurred. Audio has a tinny echo sound that makes you think the movie was shot in the Grand Canyon. You can make out the words though. Whoopee

I personally couldn't care less which statement is made or by whom or even to whatever person/group - it always turns out to be a) hollow threats, b) disses for which nobody cares, c) honest tries to change it for the better, but made 3 years too late.

I do care for the quality shoved out, and especially to what quality it COULD have been, when the releaser/releasegroup would have put in some effort.

This release (although the sound aint bad at all), seems to be done, with only 1 thing in mind - not quality - just to bring a message.
If the releaser really tried to poop out something decent videowise, It could, no... It should have been dramatically much better.

Hence.. no effort.. no points.. no review worthy.. only 1 remark : wait for better.
I'll bet Lance Armstrong's remaining testicle, that there will be a far better release withing a couple of days. Maybe not by one person/group with a message.. but at least by someone who actually tried to not let people waste time downloading their release.

- Edit : after reviewing more parts throughout the movie, I'm changing my opinion of not only the sound (in some parts its REALLY REALLY bad - can't understand a thing sometimes), but also admit that even with more effort put in from this person/group, it still would be crap^max. People with skills probably would have made this obviously crappy videosource somewhat better to watch (although it still wouldnt be watchable as a whole movie).. but it's obvious to me that no skills were involved at all.

As far as Maeven Supplier seeing Maeven's release, I don't think that's true. That NFO was on the Final Destination 3 release and I think that they are talking about their own release of this movie, that they saw and also their alleged claims that they've been getting e-mails about how wonderful their releases are.

These guys need a life, and I am sure Maeven is just looking at this as a big joke and laughing at these people which is what I wiould be doing. I am sure maeven will surely come through with a fine release of this movie. And hey, if not, don't be suprised if we see a TC of this from PUKKA like how we did with The Da Vinci Code 2 days after its initial release! Who knows. I just hope a good quality of this movie does come in soon, been dying to see it

This sort of release should have been binned and nuked when it was first spotted, i found this on a p2p site before it was even listed here, how bad is that?

I read it off of another forum, I don't know if we are allowed to give links. It's nothing, it just said that on wednesday night 14 cammers were busted, but none of the names have been released yet. But if you noticed, we have seeen nothing from Saga, Hydro, HafVCD, Prevail, and such. Normally they are the main ones to come out with a first cam. All we have gotten is Silver, and mavensupplier. So who knows.

I just hope at least Maeven and HalfVcd didn't get busted. Because while Maeven is the top, HafVCD has released stuff that is close to wat we get from maeven like See No Evil (which looks better than that FS TC), She's The Man, Just My Luck, and Over The HEdge (Maeven's was obviously better, but HafVcd was close).

the french version is best download the french version and listen the the maVenssupplieR release (it's in english), & quite watchable

Get the Spanish subtitled one

guys, forget this and go get the decent version with the spanish subtitles. It claims to be a TS. VirtualDub can even crop the subtitles out real well considering they're on the bottom black bar.

Nothing to add on here, but I'm disappointed by the fact the Frenchy Frenchmen have a TS of this already. Can't find a spainish version, but the video for the Francias is not clean, but darn still better then this copy presented here.

If you do a google search on it, there are various reports saying 13 cammers were busted all over the city of New York for the pirating of Superman returns and that they believe that these people were responsible for half the bootlegs that appear on the internet. But as said, Maeven is not even sited in America, so who knows.......

It was released worldwide the same date last wednesday and only made 20,000,000 total to this date vs the 84 million it made in the US so I mean I am sure if maeven is stationed out there, they will come up with something. Maybe this is a hard one to come up with because of the length of th movie, you know?

NEW YORK -- The FBI dropped the curtain Wednesday on two movie piracy rings that specialized in sneaking digital camcorders into theaters and shooting hit films like "Ocean's Twelve" and "The Passion of the Christ," then duplicating and distributing millions of bootlegs worldwide.

Agents arrested 13 people in raids across the city, including some they said were about to pirate the potential summer blockbuster "Superman Returns," which opened Wednesday.

Some of the DVD knockoffs included the FBI warning seen at the start of legitimate discs -- "no small irony," Mark Mershon, head of the bureau's New York office, said at a news conference.

The counterfeiters had been operating since 1999. Industry officials believe they were responsible for nearly half of all the illicit recordings made in the United States.


Using computer file-sharing networks, the suspects distributed the counterfeit films to Pakistan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and other countries, said Michael Robinson, an anti-piracy official for the Motion Picture Association of America.

The bootleggers "fueled a huge, huge underground economy," Robinson said.

Because counterfeiters sometimes bribe their way into advance screenings, their work can hit the black market before the movies are released in theaters -- part of a broader scheme that the movie industry says robbed it of an estimated $18 billion in global revenue in 2005.

The MPAA contacted the FBI in 2003 after learning that a knockoff version of "The Matrix Reloaded" was circulating on the Internet.

The association's investigators had determined that the movie had been pirated during a special screening at a Manhattan theater. The FBI responded by launching an undercover operation targeting people known as cammers, who specialize in covertly filming movies in theaters.

Court papers said the FBI learned the cammers often used assistants, known as blockers, who "would sit in strategic positions surrounding the cammers so as to camouflage and conceal their filming activities" and "prevent people from blocking the view of the video camera."

The video shooters were paid several hundred dollars per film by manufacturers who would duplicate and package fake DVDs in counterfeit labels for distribution to street peddlers, the court papers said. The bootlegs sell for up to $19 a piece.

The suspects were awaiting arraignment in federal court in Manhattan. Each could face up to five years in prison if convicted of conspiracy, copyright infringement and trafficking in counterfeit goods.

Actually for Ocean's 12, which I still got teh bootleg of, was released by VideoCD, which is strange because they have been out of the game for a year, as Fantastic 4 was their final release. Now, there were cams of Ocean's 12 so I mean I am really thinking that these were guys like POT, Hydro, Saga, etc. Doesn't Maeven usually cam their movies from their projector with the sound jack hooked to the sound board? So I mean it would've been hard for the FBI to bust them. Besides as someone mentioned, they are located in the UK either way. And the movie doesn't get released in the UK til the 14th. So I think that if we do not see a TC soon, of this, then we will be hot on the heels of a hot copy from Maeven.
