EDIT: Aspect ratio and crop are fine. I didn't check my settings properly in MPC so sorry for the mistake. My bad.

Nice enough picture with good saturation and crispness but there is a noticeable flicker and it seems slightly dark in some shots.

Sound seems direct and decent quality.

this release is good from sample if i change the ar to 221:100 or 16:9 its good and the audio is fine as hell for a ts though i was hoping maven or 20th would have got this out with a larger resolution....but hey its free.

Video- 7.5 (colours are on, and flicker barley noticable from sample)

Audio- 8 (sounds direct from sample and no hiss or distortion)

Movie- ??? (waiting to see )

The AR is fine, the crop is fine.. I seen the micnight premeire last night.

Video: 7 - Good for a 1st day release.
Audio: 7 - Clear, and nice for a mono transfer.
Movie: 8 - Had a few lame parts that should've been cut, but it was good.

i agree with GRiMREEFA-2k
Its the same russian source thats been out for a couple of days all mVs have done is sync direct audio to it, so i wouldnt call syncing audio impossible in 2 days

Not as Good as The Next rlse last week.. Bit dark but good rlse for speed, who ever camed it. Even if all mvs did was add english audio and sync it, still brings us guys a watchable copy on rlse day.

My goodness that Braino is fast off the mark. And does us all a service for being just that way. Keep it up please. As for the rlse today is Friday. The movie opens today. What mVs has done is provide a completely watchable version that we all can enjoy. Now. Doubt if you will see better quality from such a quick rlse period.

Another good quality release from mVs.
Video is a bit dark, but definitely watchable and audio is very good.
The movie is imho the best of the series.

Looks a little darkish , but very good otherwise , audio seems good , awesome early release , so you cant complain .

saw the Movie in theatre couple days ago , wicked , way better than number two , and on a par with the first movie , if not slighty better.

Don't get me wrong, but when some of you guys are giving the video a rating of 9, I would think that the quality would be close to DVD. If others are saying it's 7 with a touch of dark and tint, then why would you guys give it a 9. At least report with honesty.

This is an amazing release especially considering it is opening day.

By the sample:

Video = 7.5 It is clear and watchable but it gets dark sometimes.

Audio = 8.5 Sounds great!

Movie = Dunno havent watched it

I won't suck anyone's cock, but I will rate the release.
Who cares where its from or how it got made.
Now for the rating:
Video is not bad, slight flicker and a few dark scenes but overall very watchable.
Audio is nice and crisp, no problems there.
The movie wasn't as good as I hoped, but still its entertaining.

lil dark during darkest scenes , colours ok some motion blur slight flicker , audio in sync mostly & direct , no need for proper as even that would be dark , as darkest scenes will still b dark !

I burned the movie on DVD & just got done watching it on tv, if you turn the brightness all the way up on your tv then it's damn near perfect.
There where a few dark scenes even with the brightness all the way up but you can still tell what is going on easily.
And when you consider the movie hasn't even been out a day yet this release is amazing.
Also you don't see any audience participation, or at least I didn't notice any.

This is my sig.

It is a bit dark as people have been saying, but there's an easy way around that. I used CyberLink PowerDirector 6 and increased the backlight and it looked like a perfect TS.

Here are my ratings:


Original mVs source:
Video: 7.5/10 (Dark in a few places, flicker)
Audio: 8/10 (Was a bit hollow at one point)
Movie: ?/10 (Gonna finish watching tomorrow)


After increasing backlight:
Video: 9/10 (Flicker)
Audio: 8/10 (Same as above)
Movie: ?/10 (Same as above)

brilliant release,mvs had some big doubters at the begiining but they surely must be the best TS releases group out there now

Who cares where their video sources come from,near every release for the past 4 months has been top quality.

Cant understand all the haters..This group has been consistent with good quality releases and heres another to add to the list.

Colors are weak and movie is dark but still very good. The sound is better that most I've heard lately. Fast release, worth getting if you really want to see this movie.

V-7.5 - Dark, dull but clear.
A-8 - Loud and clear.
M-? - Not my type of movie.

Just watched the movie, i saw it in theatres opening night at 12:01, there is about 30 seconds missing total from the movie just incase anybody was wondering. Its mostly from the Sandman battle when peter thinks he has killed him.

I noticed there was quite a few missing scenes here and there, or rather, scenes being chopped up and at least one cut out.

Well from skipping though a few scenes of the movie.

V7: Slight flicker, and colours kinda pale, but other then that very watchable.
A7: Its direct but very flat imo.
M??: Don't know didn't watch it yet.

After Adjusting the brightness and adding some colour to it.

V8: Much better once you add some brightness and colour to it.
and the rest is the same as the above.

Anyway hats of to mVs for such a fast release and one of good quality too.

V : 8 A little dark - as is the trend, but clear
A: 9 Perfect line audio, no noticeable desync
M: 7 Decent movie overall, but Spiderman is just a douche.

Video is good in terms of quality (colour/focus), perhaps a little dark with a slight flicker. Sound is good, in sync for me and clear but maybe a slight background hiss but overall very good. If you have been waiting this is the one

seeing this is one of the top movies of the year, there will be a sweet russian telicine real soon, or maybe even an r5!!! within 10 days i would say.

After watching completely through (I seen the midnight premiere), I can confirm that there are missing clips.

The missing clip most noticeable

SPOILERS TO CONFIRM MISSING FOOTAGE
Spider-Man and Sandman fall down somewhere in the sub track area... The fight as the fall... The missing part is when Spidey land on a big tank. He begins pulling as hard as he can and nuts start flying off and water beginf spraying out from the areas. The tank busts, and the movie cuts back to the water bursting out and Sandman being carried away by the current and crumbles.

Thanks mVs...very nice and worthy release....

Saw in theaters, and it was an ok film.....but the ending sucked period....weak end....

Overall special effects and fight scenes were decent...Part 2 still holds the crown as the best in series....

8/9/6 very disappointed in this movie...so wonder they rushed it out, into a May Release....

I must say, props for the quick release. Usual mvs quality too which is nice

Picture quality was great throughout, darker scenes are slightly harder to see but nothing brightness cant fix

Sound was average, not as good as I thought it was going to be but direct and no problems

A huge improvement over the cam that I peeked at previously. As mentioned, a little dark and washed out... on the TV, I was able to intensify the colour a bit, but scenes where he wears the black suit are not very crisp. Also noticed the little clips of missing footage, at least from the cam version... I have yet to get to the theatre for it. After watching again, vote for the film itself drops one, but I still didn't mind it.

darkness of the video is very noticeable during the end hard to make out the characters bodies during the fights

a bit dark in some scenes, but overall a great release!

Why is there small missing sections? Are they cutting out bits that have something on them that they can be traced with??!?!

After watching this release there are a few flaws.
Bitrates aren't even close between cd1 and 2.
cd1 is 54 mins and cd2 is 1hr 20 mins, thats a 26 minute difference.
There is approximately 2 mins missing in total.
After all that is said.. this is still the one to get.

Good for a fast release, but unfortunately extremely dark. I just need to know how to change brightness of the hue. I heard TMPGEnc Xpress should do it, will it?

nice copy not bad had to brighten it up a bit and touch up the colour apart from that not a bad job at all

Video is damn good. It's been at least a year since I saw a TS with video this good. Audio is excellent, no hiss or hollowness, just crisp, clear sound. Movie was very disappointing. This is the weakest Spidey to date. I guess the law of diminishing returns has sunk its teeth into this series.

Hopefully the new Fantastic Four movie will be better. Overall, great job, mVs!

I wonder if that other release has the missing scenes that everyone is talking about. I don't know if it should be considered official yet because there hasn't been a post on this site about it. Just watched the movie last night , was good for a TS. Good video and good sound. The movie on the other hand wasnt very good , the other 2 were better but what do you expect from sequel films.

Great Job mVs on the quickness and quality of this one. The video is very clear and crisp. I didnt notice any macro blocking or glitches. Also it plays very smoothly and looks crystal clear. The Audio is very nice also. Not tinny or hollow. Its a very nice Direct Audio. The movie itself i thought left alot to be desired. But anyhow it is definately the copy to get so far.

EDIT: It is missing a bit of a fight scene that is the most noticable cut. But still thanks mVs

That is William Dafoe (The Goblin) he is supposed to be dead in the movie and still he appears there in the middle of the bar..

The movie sucked, wasn't as good as i thought it would be, maybe it was because of the restricted budget, as I see it it's cheaper to use the same actors :P
