Die Another Day 2nd Opinion

I caught a pre of the new James Bond film, Die Another Day. I can tell you this, it was hell getting into the theatre... after being denied my free tickets, i was forced to settle for 8 mile, Jackass, Harry Potter, Punch-Drunk Love, or Half Past Dead. Being the guy I am.. and seeing as I have seen all of the movies here. I decided to sell the ticket to whoever the hell would want to pay $10, seeing as a single ticket is $8 each, and the ticket i had was good for 2 free tickets... that's a shitload of saved money. No one would buy.. and we even had a tcket seller try and call security. SO after that happend, me and a friend walked back in to see one of the other movies... And another ticket holder was at the gate, and told us to try and find a seat in the front of the Bond flick... So I got in.

After getting in it was my suprise, that there were like 10 seats left, bet the people who settled for 8 mile wished they waited. So, we found two of the better available seats, but that means... yep the 2nd row, all the way to the left. Horrible Horrible seats. My neck is now killing me. But enough with that.. after i was seated.. the movie began and i began to watch it.

Pierce Brosnan, back again as James Bond, his fourth attempt at the role, and a good attempt at that. He may not live up to Connery, but he definately finds himself a skooch behind Moore. He is going to assassinate a North Korean general, who is selling weapons for diamonds, This opens the movie, with a Hovercraft chase, over the Mine Fields. With explosions galore, and some excellent weapons, Bond is captured and tortured. He is then set free in a trade, and now must go after the man that set him up.

With excellent Effects, action sequences, and Halle Berry. This is one hell of a ride, that has a some-what original story, with the normal James Bond twists, and crazy plots to destroy the world. The movie is definately a Bond Flick. One down point was the fact that Madonna did the Theme Song... which was the worst peice of garbage to ever touch the screen.

If you are a fan of Bond, this is for you. If you aren't a fan of Bond, stay away... I am a fan and I give this:

8 out of 10

With Halle Berry, and Bond's new ride... this is a truly good Bond... way better than World is not Enough.

Money Penny's scene had the entire audience laughing histarically... They almost ruined the chemistry....

When I went and saw it yesterday there was about 20 people in total there, so got the best seat, right in the middle on the back row, excellent view, I wish I had a pair of those VR glasses hehe and I thought the Sword fighting was well done and the small jokes they managed to get in everywhere, more than any other Bond film I think and how they mention it is his 20 film is crever, they dont say it but make it clear.

Overall I think it is a must see.

Really Phucker? Damn, I thought this one was going to be great. That's all I've heard are good things about it, like it was the best Bond to come out in a while. I still haven't seen it yet, so I can't comment on it, but a 3 out of 10? Damn.....gonna have to watch it soon to find out why.
