I dunno if you Yanks/Canucks can buy one from them but i say email them or call them, it's worth a try.

I got one for my Xmas/Birthday present and it is awesome. It plays basically ANY format except DivX naturally. It will do VCD, SVCD, CVD, XVCD, CDDA, CDR+G, CD-R,CD-RW, DVD-R,DVD-RW, DVCD, HDCD, MP3, JPEG, DVD and god knows what else.

It also plays all the CD-R brands with NO problems, there is a multi-region remote control hack (which i did as soon as i opened the box).

It's got a Dolby Digital and 5.1 built in decoders. Subtitle things, Zooms, Angles blah blah blah. The build quality is great, although it does tend to get a little warm after watching a long movie (ie: LOTR, Titanic etc). It looks great too and is mega slimline.

It's fucking brilliant and i highly recommend this player to absolutely everyone that can get one,

Take it from someone that owns one, if you want something that will play everything, get this player. Hell, you could take a shit on the CD/DVD tray and press play and it would play a movie out of your shit. It'll play anything! Enjoy.

Interesting, so how did your "movie" turn out?

I was disappointed, all i got was re-runs of The Honeymooner's.

Perhaps it's because i ate beans that day...

I have both the APEX 1100 and the portable KOSS [ both Macro&Region Free ] but I want one that will play all media and have VGA output on the back [ like the Skyworth ] ... has anybody seen one with VGA that will play SVCD/VCD/DVD-R/Etc. ???
