out of curiousity, is kingpin from spiderman the same kingpin is daredevil?

Technically he is. Except the Kingpin in the DareDevil movie is black and the Kingpin in the comics is white.

Yeah, I thought casting Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin was an odd choice. They should've kept him white as in the comics.

I think James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) would've made a great Kingpin.

i think he was perfect, his skin color really didn't bother me, he has the exact build for the role

I think he played the part very well.
I've never read the comics of spiderman/dare devil, but he is tech. white, thoe MDC still played a great Kingpin. I doubt you could find a bigger good actor for the part

Yes he is. And skin colour makes no diff. He was a great choice for the part.

Yes lets not forget about Ving Rhames, another Black Actor, another Good Choice, I thought...and aka Robert DeNiro who gained 50 pounds to play Al Capone in the Untouchables would have done well as well.

read FHM and the interview with him said he had to gain just under 50lbs for the part.... he already weighed 305lbs when he went into the interview

Yeah, and he did a lot of body-building for it.

In the comics, DareDevil and Spidey run into each other a few times, but being in the same city and all they should practically be crashing into each other every two minutes... and seriously, is DareDevil really gonna do all that much with Spidey out there? Whatever... just ranting. Anyway, Duncan was a great choice for Kingpin, and while even the director said he had his reservations about it, it certainly turned out for the best.
