Yep looks great for a ts just flicked through it though.

vid= 9 for ts

Sound is slightly distorted like the are levels to high when recorded but not so bad as to ruin it. Appears to be in sync might go out slightly in places but not so you'd really notice just a fraction nothing as drastic as there xmen release.

aud= 8 still better than alot of the ts these days.

overall top notch ts glad to see maven putting more stuff out again.

--edited now I've watched it all--

very clear pic (minimal motion blur, nice and sharp. great contrast and color saturation, maybe a little light). telesyncs don't come better than this - many groups would try pass this off as a telecine.

audio does go out of sync for a while around the 50min mark... nothing major though. some fm static during the last 5mins... again, nothing major. luckily this movie doesn't have much dialogue.

movie doesn't come close to living up to the quality of this release...

the sample actually has a subtitle and its in english, which is nice for a change. video has a slight flicker, but is the top of the line for a ts. audio is nice as well, these guys are the only ones left in the scene.

Audio Problems in the last 5-10 minutes sounds like static, or something rubbing against a microphone. Nothing to ruin the film tho.

The video on this is awesome. The sound seems out of sync in places but corrects itself seconds afterwards. Slight FM buzz occasionally but sort of blends with the music so you sort of think WTF maybe its me. Overall this frikin rocks. Thanks maven!

well im susepecting a re pack from maven due to 2 frames in the movie between 40-50 mark , the audio goes out of synch for a few secs near the end and where the mafia guys come near the end the audio sounds as though a radio is out of tune (goes for 3 secs when mafia guys walk towards them0

what on easrth are you on about vin diesl being in the fourth? this is the 3rd film in the series...though from what ive seen this one really should have stayed un produced simlar really to the outcome of the last 2 matrix films lol

Audio - 6: Audio is decent. Some static at times but not too bad. I didnt notice any sync issues.

Movie - 4: Horrible piece of shit. Bow wow was wack, main actor was shit. Plot was bad, nothing interesting about it. Bad movie overall. Good thing we dont pay for it rite LOL

Very nice job on this one Maven. Its nice to see you have a good audio supplier these days.

Video is very nice. Nice AR, and no shaky cam, flickering, or heads in the way. Colors are nice, and even the fast motion scenes look good.

Audio is good. Better than the other Maven TS releases of late. There is a small sync problem starting at the rooftop fight scene at school. It seems to come back a short while later. Right after the final race scene there are a few spots of hiss that last for a few seconds each.

Movie was OK. The actor's voice was totally annoying. I didn't really get into the storyline very much. *Spoiler* The cameo by Vin Diesel was funny, but totally cheesy. It didn't fit the movie at all.

V - 9 It doesn't get much better for a TS.

A - 7 Moslty good except for the few glitches i mentioned

M - 8 Worth watching if you like imports. They don't put these movies out to win oscars.

What you need to know:
Great release of a shitty movie. Sync issues: didn't notice any. Glad to see maVen have a sense of humor about whoever had the shitty release a few days ago.

after skipping thru the whole release there are quite a few sync problems throughout, and some bad static towards the end.

aspect ratio is a little bit stretched, only noticeable at the beginning when you see the globe

some strange filtering going on with the colours in parts as well

Certainly since the o'l DTS days
Not since then have i heard such good audio. I can forgive the little bits of FM static near the end as it's something and nothing.

Very nice pic to go with the excellent audio.
If i was being hyper critical i might have a little concern over how much this is cropped. But you see everything you should do and subs prove the picture is straight. Very hard to find fault with this in the TS world really. A tiny amount of picture flicker but FAR less than what we used to get with CTP releases. The couple of frames that freeze are easily removed so that isn't something that detracts for me. Viewed on a monitor this is very good. Viewed on a nice big TV this is Excellent.

I'm usually 1 of the people that marks lower than the rest when it comes to cams/TS because i remember the standards of old. but for this it's damn hard to mark down on.

the video more than makes up for any "slight" issues
if they are bad where are they i know its out a bit from 50+mins

typical maVen quality which is as the usual,,,,,very good. Movie was the worst of the 3 IMO but a good filmfest of hot cars if you like your motors like me

A: 7 definitely direct, a small amount of "hissing" for a couple minutes near the end of the movie; nothing too distracting, though
M: 8 I'm not really sure why I find these Fast and the Furious movies so entertaining, but this one really surprised me; especially when most series are REALLY bad by the time they get to number three.

picture quality on this release is great! I too had sync problems while watching it through xbmc . I do not know if xbmc is the reason, as I have not tried it through pc.

at the end of the flick about 1 or 2 minutes of static comming through speaker... durring this time there are only sound effect really of the car engines... no dialog really at this point no biggie.

I really dont get how people aint seeing/hearing the sync probs.

Its pretty much half way through.

just an example 1 hour 2 mins in after hes been practicing and comes back for new tyres the car door is clearly shut hes walking away and is almost at the back of the car before you hear the slam.

I could go on but the sync issue is clear at that point.

yeah i had some sync issues for like 30 seconds that i noticed pic was good sound was good bar the last 2 minutes i also thought this movie was gonna be shit but was suprised really loved the racing something different and having vin diesel at the end of it was strange but it fits in really well as at the end of fast and the furious like after the credits they show vin diesel in mexico cruising so thats obviously where he met han

Keep it up. Lukily maVen don't lie and try and pass it off as a Telecine as some groups would rip it n do that. Damiens release was deffo a diff source, they came close, but I think that should have been an INTERNAL and I guess the Hydro one was nuked for various reasons (i hope)....

Anyhow maVen's the best.

Not trying to spoil the fun, but i just saw on the news that this movie only grossed 9 million dollars this week. "Click" did three times as much, if i recall correctly.

I guess us casual sharers are to blame. That or the fact that this is the third in the series and the movie completely sucked.

finally picked up a xvid/divx capable dvd player, so i watched this on the TV tonight.

quality is amazingly good. Gotta love the whole movie on a single CDR, mp4 has it's advantages.

This is great quality. No artefacts. Pretty clear during fast scenes.

For a movie that just came out, very nice TS. Add it to the list of great MaVen releases. Nice picture, didn't notice a hiss or sync issues. As for the movie...the Hot Cars couldn't help the story thats been done hundreds of times. It was like Rocky, but with drifting. Karate Kid but cars.

The release was great but in IMDB they say that the movie is 104 minutes and in the release the video is only about 70 minutes.
Does someone know anything about that?
