Nice copy from 1st disc good pic, direct sound, real nice telesync. Pic is slightly soft but perfectly watchable even the dark scenes are fine.

Seen this nuked on some sites for stolen audio and bad ghosting...

have only seen sample so far, but looked good and sounded nice..
can anyone confirm or denounce this?

Just saw a xvid release from germany, great video (for a TS) Colour were bright, no ghosting, little blur, not to bright, not to dark. Audio was (as it suggests) in German though.

I'll wait for the next one...

skimmed thru cd3 and 1, heavy cropping semi strong colors (not as washed out) w/ minor pixelation. more clarity in dark scenes w/ Kong, and on the waterfront.
havent found any ghosting frames yet.

VLC and wmp has this formatted as 4:3
so AR appears streched when adjusted to 16:9

the ghosting is bs there is no ghosting i watched this on XBMC for about 20 min and saw no ghosting, watched and action scene from the ship. And as far as stolen audio, there has been no TS pre yet atleast no english ts so wtf did they steal from. man nukes are getting outta control. I thought the AR looked ok too on the tv, i thought was a good release. Props to FuCK keep em coming. And i am sure this was a SiLVER as that is what FUCK pre's mostly on CAMs and TSs but the encode very well. If this is the same source as swine it was encoded much better.

Aspect ratio? Who knows? Between the disproportional features of Adrien Brody and Jack Black, it's almost impossible to tell.

the video skips in certain parts, and the audio goes off for a few secs (more than once) in the first 30 mins only. i gave up watching it after that.

average ts, I dont think maven is going to do this one.

Based on the sample:

This is from the entire release not from the sample like all the boff heads try and rate from.

Video 7 : It's nice does seem to have a blur only in parts.
Audio 5 : Mono but firm mono sound with no echo
Movie 10 : great film i thought but was a but slow in getting to skull island as i said in a previous posting on the CAM rls u must see this on the bigscreen anything other than a DVD SCR will destroy the fun of this movie. it was great seeing it before the rest of the world in where it was made hehehehe.

All been said already but, watchable is the word. May still be better to come perhaps, but this'll cut it for now.

Only major problem is with the crop and the lack of crisp colour. Decent enough audio to couple it.

Just watched the whole movie on XBMC.
Sound is nice and clear, dont miss a word.
Video is pretty damn good for a TS, even in the very dark scenes everything is visable.
Over all movie rating: Id give it about a 7. Not too bad, but not brilliant, less than the hype the movie has been given recently.

But this release is definately worth a download.

Overall: 8/8.5/7

It is definitely better than many TS's......not bad at all considering how soon it was released.

8/8/9 ......obviously a TC (Telecine) or DVD SCR would beat it, but it is the best we are going to get from a CAM/TS.

The AR is a bit off but nothing major. Colors are decent but has a slight washed look to it, again nothing worth complaining over really.

Audio is good enough, ive heard better but i can live with it for now. Gonna watch after finished d/l.

first of all exellent work from fuck to get this out so fast

on viewing the whole movie,
it's excellent in the bright scenes with good colour and the ar looks ok, but the dark scenes are unwatchable totaly black screen at points!! audio is nice some distortion here and there but overall very good, this is proberly best that can be done with this film as far as ts's are concerned! the movie its self was ok from what i saw of it!!

great video, audio was ok. there were a few spots where it got a bit fuzzy, and a few secs in disc one with no audio at all. I didnt notice any ghosting either. All in all a very good release and a pretty good movie as well.

just watching the cd1 and notice a few glitches,, one part when he writes the check its speeds up and goes all fast forwardy for like 30 seconds, then about 5 min later sounds cuts out when hes explaining they are going to an island...

anyone else have this problem?

watched an hour of this last night. I did not find the dark scenes too dark (but they are definitely dark), they were still watchable IHMO. Twice the video went all fast forwardy and there ws no sound during these parts. There is a bit of blur in motion, but it's not too bad that it can't be watched. Audio is quite good, although early on there are a couple of moments when there is some static. Quite a good release this early for this movie, and I'm not sure that any other group would do a spectatcularly better job on this.

This print is meant for burning to disc and watch on TV. Video comes out much better than watching on a computer screen.

Was really surprised how nice the picture played on my 42" LCD TV.

Same problem with the fast forward then no audio/fast forward on the boat scene over to the island. Thought I took too many drugs or something. Thats pretty much the only gripe I have with this release.

V:7.5 - Good average video for TS
A: 7 - Lots of "static" that cuts in and out. When the static isnt there audio is at least a 9. Only really noticable on the quiet scenes and I didn't notice it until 2/3 through the movie.
M: 8 - I wanna say a little too lovey dovey with Ann/Kong but then there is enough action to counter it.

Missing parts. 1st when he's talking to her in the restaurant the conversations jumps forwars, soon after on the ship it skips about 45 seconds of dialogue and goes into fast-motion to catch up. Then it cuts out audio right when Jack Black is announcing the name of the island they're going to (Skull Island). That was it for me. I couldn't watch anymore.

The movie is listed on imdb as having a runtime of 187 minutes. So say we're OVERLY generous and knock off 17 minutes for credits, we should still have a runtime of 170 minutes. FUCK's release runs for roughly 120 minutes (40m per disc), leaving a missing 50 minutes out of the flick. They werent exactly subtle about it either, theres one particular set o scenes where one minute its night, next scene is daytime.

There are 2 points in the movie (once on cd1 and once on cd2 if I remember right) where the movie kinda 'fast forwards' for about 10 seconds with no audio. Other than that, I only had to turn the brightness on my tv up a bit and the pic looked great.

pretty decent release. Colors washed a bit, sound was good. Definitely dark, especially in the dark scenes but easily fixed with an adjustment on the tele

King Kong

This in my opinion is the best release so far . Ive d/loaded and checked the others and there awful,very dark couldnt even see kong when he came for Niaomi Watts, Audio too was muffled also pic was blurred cant remember what the source was but this was my 4 th attempt to get a decent version and my last. Excellent film though i liked how Jackson kept most of the original scenes in from the 1933 classic.

well the movie was great in the theaters but this relese is well ok if you can get past the ghosting and what the hell is up with some parts like there in fast forward mode on cd 1 which i burned twice to see if it was the disc and and whats with the sound on and off like a hiss or scrathing and the dark scenes are dark when it deals with kong this does not do the movie justice. so heres my ratings.

vid:4 (due to the fast forward like motion and the ghosting)
audio:6 (due to the hiss scratch and about 1 min of sound missing on disc 1when in the boat with jackand carl taking about skull island.
