Live From Baghdad
has anyone seen this movie? I don't get HBO, but I saw a trailer for it on CNN and I thought it looked pretty good.
Someone give me a review please!
Came on on my birthday... Wanted to watch it but didnt catch it. Looked like a damn good film to. But knowing HBO, they'll play it another 400 times.

One time, my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room! So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to ‘em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....

I saw this movie and was really impressed. The first time I saw it I only caught the second half, and it was still able to draw me in and make it a good story. When I saw it in its entirety the second time it came on, it was even better. It's mainly all about 'the story'. Just the classic, "I'm a journalist I have to get this story even if it kills me, because that's what good journalists do." I'm usually annoyed by such stupid things, but not in this one. They really put into perspective how important the world's first live and televised war was. The scene where you see all the anti-air going up is pretty intense. They really did a good job of putting you in the journalists' spot standing in a city where bombs were dropping left and right. But blah, I'm rambling, go see it soon.
grrr I really wish I could get HBO, or some tv group would rip it.
