Centropy really sucks, since their suppliers (telesyncs, pdvd) left...

The previous dvd screener(tcf's i think) looked better than this

It's funny how often you see of dipshits saying 'I wish <insert group here> would fucking leave the scene'. Now, not all releases are good, and yes some releases should never leave a group to make it out to the general public, but to say a group should pack up and quit is unfair.

Personally, id like to see more groups. It spurs competition, and gives groups something to aspire to (be the elitest of all the groups:P). More releases = more choices for us (the internet-hobos). Also, more releases = having a movie spread out over the internet = easier to find a movie youre looking for. Granted, for some people getting a new movie isn't hard, but for the general leeching audience, more = easier.

The only scenario I could see where more groups releasing would be bad is if a site like this (vcdquality) didn't exist. You'd have to download all of the samplers to see the video quality, or worse download the whole movie. So thank you to all of the groups who release, and to VCDQUALITY for existing

All this bitterness towards CTP is due to the manner in which they left the scene. Alot of people feel slighted, rightly or wrongly, by CTP for going internal and then altogether leaving telesyncs. They also had a certain level of arrogance and entitlement to them. I think people now feel that CTP is only releasing DVDRip, which many groups are capable of doing, to maintain their status on top sites. It seems entirely selfish and not releasing for the sake of the scene itself. At the same time people need to acknowledge what CTP did for the telesync scene at their height. They took it to a new level and this needs to be commended. Just take a look at the NFOs for several groups that still send greets to CTP. This is because of what they gave to the scene at one time. So we should no slam CTP and tell them to go away, but we should still recognize that they are releasing simply for their own selfish means and not for the scene itself, like other reputable groups.

You do realize that Centropy has been releasing DVD rips since, ooh, early 2001 right? Thats a long time before their telesyncs were getting the high praise as of late.
In fact, i submit to you that ALL groups are selfish. Why do you think they release? For sites and leeches ofcourse.
