TDi's release seemed fine to me. not sure if these are really valid reasons to proper it except for the 2cd , 3cd bit. o well.
I heard that TDi's bitrate was too high. I can't really confirm this since I don't actually have the TDi release. Anyone know for sure?
NICE release... great picture and sound... firm?? i guess u guys are new... from the .nfo i saw u did minority report too... i gotta find it... if its anything like this... u guys will be big contenders soon!!
TDI's version seemed fine to me when I watched it. And as far as 3 CDs goes I don't see where releasing it in 2 CDs as a proper isn't a good enough reason. Yes 2 CDs would probably have been better but ohwell tough luck, no reason to proper.
lol sample quite clearly shows a DIVX 2 SVCD reencode.... haha lewsers

Welcome to the scene. Hope you stick around.
XViD reencodes rock, let's all praise them!
horrible reason for proper. and cd size is not about the length its about the bitrate. bitrate below 1700 will result in a crap encode even if you use 100 passes. Id rather have it in 3 cds looking much better, but this firm grp doesnt know shit prolly a bunch of guide whores
If I was to judge quality by the jpegs as was done in an earlier post, I would have to say the scenes posted look like a lot of motion is involved. You can see a hand blurred from motion, but no blockiness.
In the other one, you see them obviously rushing her in a hospital somewhere, but the quality still looks like it's holding on.
Apparantly the nfo was right, they could rip this to 2 discs and maintain good picture.
p.s. This does NOT look like an avi re-encode, or that hand you see blurred there would be surrounded by blocks. Duh.
lol
look at the sample
the pics are all blocky
even in jpeg, her face in bottom left has all blocks like its made out of lego
infact, all 4 pics, the first one, u can see blockyness in mans hand/elbow, second one, the curtain, and her leg is not even straigh, its legoleg!, third one, the doctor looks like he has rabbit teeth so much blockyness....
lol
if this isn't a reencode of the divx, then they sure as well did the worst job ever encoding this... proper my ass
EDIT: just checked the 3 releases, and haha busted may i say
the divx starts about 2 sec after the start of the TDi SVCD (looks like ViTE chopped like 2 sec in the start)
and guess what.... this proper starts also 2 sec late.... hahahaha busted big time
what asswhips! i don't blame them, who would have guessed but loooooollllllllllllllll
I'll stick with the TDi release i think.
p.s: This is a fine movie. Watch it.
i got a blow job thanks to this rip... so mad props to FiRM for helpin me spray my web =] beautiful rls to a half-decent movie. thanks guys! i sure as shiz didnt wanna pay to see this sleeping pill!!!

retired from the scene, but still leechin!
Heard that this FiRM release is a 2CD reencode of TDi's 3CD release. The NFO calls TDi's release "subpar". How can they say this? Their reencode from 3CDs down to 2 of already reencoded video is obviously going to look worse.

Okay, just checked it out for myself. Audio is fine. As for the video... they've managed to take a DVDSCR and reduce it to horrible VCD quality. Way to go FiRM.
Stick with TDi's 3CD version if you want DVD quality.
Rating: 6/9/7
