this movie is pretty cool... a bit slow but good.......but more importantly great quality

Posted by aero1678 on 01-05-2003 09:46 AM:

eh?

Looks like a bad aspect ratio. Some widescreen dvd's are 2:1, and I think this is one of 'em but TDi encoded it at 16:9.

Of course, this is my guess from the sample jpegs... I'm downloading it now, so I'll find out soon.

Very good quality but shitty ass movie

im a huge adam sandler fan and this is his worst movie to date im very dissapointed in this film

Simply put, true Sandler fans will NOT like this. It's an artsy love story, and some people would rather have recycled crap like Mr. Deeds and Little Nicky.
I love Sandler's earlier stuff like Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and Bulletproof, and I loved this too. His acting is incredible and he should do more movies like this.
Quality on this release is awesome, this season has rocked for screener/dvd screener releases. Keep em comin.

Posted by Redemption on 01-05-2003 03:50 PM:

Good quality and quite a good movie too.

True, Sandler fans might not like it if u like shit like Big Daddy and Mr Deeds, but come on they were childish crap that went horribly sentimental at the end.

I recommend it because the quality is great, plus im a big fan of Paul Thomas Anderson, who did Boogie Nights and the masterpiece Magnolia.

Posted by gosquad on 01-05-2003 04:20 PM:

Kickass movie.. saw it in theaters a few months back.. Sandler's "best" movie (if you can even compare a PT Anderson movie to something like Waterboy )..

quality looks pretty good, too..

Posted by darkslide on 01-05-2003 06:47 PM:

i love sandler, and all his asshole idiot comedies, but i say this is his best movie, everything moves fluently, the music is perfect, the acting is amazing on sandlers end, and it's hilarious at the same time it's so dramatic.

good quality release from TDi... definately getting this.. you should to

Is this in .avi format? Or is this in the .bin and .cue format?

Posted by Bobby-Whiskey on 01-05-2003 07:13 PM:

Wow, good to see there's not just people flaming the movie.
I'd just like to agree too that its true Magnolia and Boogie nights are both total masterpieces.
...and Sandler wouldnt be as good in PDL if it wasn't for his scenes with the always great Philip Seymour Hoffman. I'd flip if someone told me off like that over the phone

Jesus christ , This is the backfire of VCDquality being in the news

Missleading NFO

Is it in XViD/DivX or SVCD XViD/DivX = .avi and SVCD = .bin and .cue

Posted by traumatek on 01-05-2003 09:56 PM:

That's the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Mr. Deeds is better? 8 crazy nights is betteR?

Sandler is in the worst films that are all based towards the same idiotic crowd that likes to watch some dumbass fall in love. He's still a dumbass, and the movie is about falling in love, but at least the jokes are more clever than pouring shampoo on his nipples.

great movie.

I gave it 10/10/10 and here's why:

The audio was clean, sparkly and at a great level. Just right.

The picture was clean, crisp, correct ratio and most importantly, there are NO copyright msg's on the screen whatsoever!

The movie itself was sheer brilliance and i loved every minute of it.

A perfect release. Thankyou TDi.

this is one of the best movies of last year. sandler and the rest of the cast are outstanding, especially benny blanco from the bronx. excellent quality rls. i've watched this movie at least 5 times and every time i notice something i hadn't before. not for everyone, though.

10/10/10

Great quality.. sound is great.. but unfortunately even Adam Sandler couldnt make this movie very good in my book.. I rate a 10 for movies like The Gladiator.. Titanic.. Bravehart.. and this movie in no way comes even close.. I am not slamming the movie, I just dont see how some can rate the movie a 10 Did you actaully see the movie, or just the sample.. !

Great job on the movie tho TDI ... I appreciate all your work .
