-- The Emperors Club *REPACK* - DVD SCR - TDi (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=13594)
I've been wanting to see this for awhile now, but I was going to wait for the retail dvd because of the lack of good encodes.
Good movie, pretty cookie cutter for it's subject matter, like Dead Poet's Society or movies of that type, but still enjoyable. I probably won't bother to dl it, but if you haven't seen it in theaters, worth the time.
And a couple years later....The Repack Arrives. Thanks TDi.
I do not care for this.
Finally....
About time already, but i guess i can see why they they took so long, they were workin on a movie a little bigger :P. Good proper , quailty is as expected from TDi , top notch baby
thanks
i havent seen this yet, but it has that guy from life as a house, and he is a damn good actor, so this'll hog my bandwidth for the next hour.
nuked for being a dupe
Did anyone really notice the problems with the original rls? I grabbed it last night and it was one of the better releases I have seen. Guess TDi just wants to make sure they are putting out quality shit. Either way, great job.
a dupe eh ....
Maybe it was nuked on your dalnet sites joynt , but on the good sites, they dont accept FiRM's reencoded divx source Its funny i didnt even see one site nuke it ,even my lamer ones, you must be real low, or have biased nukers , reconize either way your wrong .
...^ you sir, are a moron.
The FIRM release was nuked, NOT this one.
Re: Finally....

FiRM's first release: Emperors.Club.2002.DVDSCR-FiRM was nuked for being a divx re-encode.
TDi's "Proper": The.Emperors.Club.DVDSCR.SVCD.PROPER-TDi was nuked for being interlaced
FiRM's second release: The.Emperors.Club.DVDSCR.SVCD.REAL.PROPER-FiRM was NOT nuked, but it didn't get couriered much since the nfo said INTERNAL. They probably noticed TDi's was getting nuked and changed from internal to 'public.'
TDi's second release: The.Emperors.Club.REPACK.DVDScreener.SVCD-TDi was nuked for being a dupe of FiRMs
If you don't like the above results, I urge you to contact every rated site that nuked them and complain.

none of my sites nuked this. nice quality, TDi.
TDi's first release of this was interlaced. If you dont know how to tell its when there are a whole bunch of lines appearing when something on the screen movies. It looks damn ugly :/
i havnt seen FiRM's proper around, and dont really care. This release is the one im gonna look for.
9/9/?

Problems w/ Playback...
I am finally getting around to watching this and it is pretty garbled. As if it was burned improperly but I know my burner is fine and I know how to burn SVCDz. It has sections throughout CD 1 where the audio and video get desynched for a few seconds and it gets blocky and turns different colors. Typical for a bad burn, but I am sure I burned it fine. Anyone else have this problem?
