Review:Final Destination 2(2003) w/Ali Larter

At the end of the first Final Destination, Clear Rivers (played by the extremely beautiful Ali Larter) was left the sole survivor from the first movie after the plane crash that left me stunned. I never expected that from first movie.

Locked away in an insane asylum by choice, what better way to open a movie to have a babe in an insane asylum, lol.

Back to my review, she lives in constant terror that death maybe on its way to claim her.

On to the outside as Kimberly, played by newcomer Aj Cook, is on her way to a weekend getaway with her friends, as a logging truck loses control of its lode, killing herself and the commuters behind the truck. Almost lost my lunch here.

A Moment later she is still stuck in traffic as she sees the truck as well as her fellow commuters. Freaked out, as if a nightmare was giving her a warning.

Determined to stop the vision of hers from coming true, she blocks the traffic with her car, determined to stop the accident waiting to happen.

Angered, her fellow commuters swear, scream and say all kinds of crazy things, but things get better as a young police trooper, played by Michael Landes arrives on the scene to make things right.

But as the trucks payload unravels, and the cars behind her are saved. Death rears its head, in more ways than one to pick off the survivors of the accident waiting to happen.

Final Destination 2 is extremely action packed, all following the so-called rules to the horror sequel, with more action, violence, deaths, and even nudity than the first movie.

The movie comes into its own as I was having my eyes closed half of the time.

Final Destination 2 opens on January 31, 2003, and is one hour and 35 minutes long and is rated R for gore, language and nudity.

My rating: a 7.5 out of 10

Her name was Clair

and if it was so good that you had your eyes closed etc. why give it a 7.5/10

NE Ways thanks for the review and even if you gave it a 2 I would still be seeing this in Theatre as the first movie was very enjoyable.

i thought the first was the most overrated pieces of crap i've ever had the misfortunate to sit thru, and the disc lasted in my collection for less than two days. i loved the adverts where everyone was screaming at the screens saying its a scary film.. at what point was i supposed to jump exactly?

pure hollywood "horror" (yeah right) trash, so i'll be avoiding the sequel like i avoid STDs. give me a proper horror film any day of the week.
