Memento.
I cant understand why so many people raved about this movie and many thought it was the best movie of all time. I really didn't see it as anything special. I think people saw the way they messed with the chronological order in the editing and everyone lost their freakin minds as if its never been done before. i'm probably gonna get bashed for this opinion...but its an opinion. any thoughts?
bashing someone over their opinion is for the stupids and ignorants. personally i thought the backwardsness was clever and fit the movie perfectly, of course had it of been a forwards movie it probably wouldnt of had the same effect as backwards, but it still woulda been an ok movie in my book.
i think it's a great movie, but only for smart people and people who pay attention during movies.

well i consider myself to be pretty smart and i pay attention in movies, but i thought this was one of the most overrated movies ive ever seen.
the story may not have been the best written/acted/directed even... but.. the editing.. was superb... and the logic behind the editing was excellent.
its more of an experimental movie in that regard .. and that is what should be appreciated.

i disagree, i believe it was a very good movie. the backwardsness of the movie helps us feel like we have his disorder, by showing us what just happened, we don't know what happened before that, we only know what is happening at that point. by seeing the future of the situations we are putting together the past.
this was one of my top ten but since having seen Hero, and afew other movies, it's drifted down to around #15

right i agree that the backwardsness helps us understand the fact that he has a disorder etc...
but without the editing (which i think was the only good part of this movie), we just have a regular cop/murder movie.
it was hard 2 pay attention to but wasn't that bad
