Hi, i want to buy an apex dvd player. Wich one is the best, Ad-1200 or Ad-1500?

The 1500 is definetley the better player.
ITs not made anymore, but there are several available on Ebay.

I've got the 5131, and it seems to playback everything, it's carousel (3 discs) and is hackable for region/macro free.

Apex AD-1200

I have one of the "non vcd" playing Apex AD-1200s. But there is a work-around. If you get the vcd and convert it to an mpg and just burn it as a data cd, it will recignize this as pop up an menu where you just select the file and hit play. It plays SVCDs fine though. It was 100% worth the $70CAN i payed for it!
