How about Michael Keaton to return as Batman?

But not in his own movie but as an aging Batman that passes the torch off to a young apprentice in a Batman Beyond movie.

Nah.... Keaton aint that old yet. At least not old enough to play the 'Batman Beyond' role. Personally i think Keaton could still PLAY Batman. He was certainly the best Batman in the movies. Anyway... As long as they dont get George 'I'm the worst Batman ever!!' Clooney back in the cowl i'll be happy.

That was Joel Schumakers pick. Did so well with Batman Forever but sucked ass on Batman & Robin.

Meh... I hated Batman Forever. Val Kilmer was quite good as Bats but he could have been soooooo much better if he had only had a darker Batman to play with.

I heard a very reliable rumor that there is a project in the works to bring Keaton back as Bats, in a free for all Ultimate Batman Movie, where all the criminals from all the Batman Movies converge to take on Bats in a free for all.

Jack-The Joker
Danny DeVito-The Penguin
Catwoman-true Catwoman in Michelle Pfeifer
The Riddler-Jim Carrey
Two Face-Tommy Lee Jones
Poison Ivy-Uma Thurman
and yes Iceman-Arnie

would be a guaranteed blockbuster, if they can finalize the deal.

It would like the Batman movie they did in the TV series.

Uh Huh! So did The Joker and The Penguin. I cant tell you if Mr Freeze died. I have mentally blocked 90% of that movie out of my head. I hope to have 95% blocked out by May!

Well of course Keaton would have to be aged for the part. Remember on the pilot Batman Beyond cartoon. Batman in the befinning of the movie was an aging batman in his 50s but 20 years quicly passes on. Then the new Batman takes over. Just a thought. Personally I wouldn't mind Keaton to return as the Batman in his own Bats movie too. Remember the rumor around that Keaton would play Batman in Batman vs Superman?

Here is a nice little tidbit I heard years ago. Did you know that Bill Murray was actually the first actor Warner Bros. wanted to cast as Batman? But Ghostbusters 2 got in the way. Hmm, glad they got Keaton instead.

my least favorite "glaring" flaw in the batman movies was the casting of Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face.

dont get me wrong, tommy lee is a kick ass actor (natural born killers cemented that) buuuuutt.....

Isnt Two-Face actually Harvey Dent?

so wheres the man, Billy Dee Williams????

hrmm...Tommy Lee, Billy Dee....

Yep, I guess they thought noone would noticed. They guessed wrong on that one.

In the comics Two Face was White, so casting was right..

As for other parts to the post:

Rule#1 in comics--In movies No one ever dies, they get resurrected.

I still wanna see Scarecrow

And Michael Keaton was the best Bat. PERIOD

Although I might be interested in seeing Colin Farrell as the Bat

Only if Tim Burton returns as the director.

Yep... me agrees on this one. Michael Keaton was good as Batman as long as Tim Burton was behind the camera. He's the only person that can make Gotham City as dark and fantastic as it should be...
