Review: The Hunted 2003
"And god said to Abraham, kill me a son"
This biblical reference is supposed to represent the relationship between ex U.S. Special forces soldier Aaron Helm (Benicio Del Toro) and his old military trainer L.T. (Tommy Lee Jones). Sadly though, director William Friedkin fails to create this unique bond between the two and we are left with a movie entirely too reminiscent of the Fugitive. The tale of hunter and hunted has been played out time and time again and this movie is but one more iteration of the concept. L.T. tracks helm though the streets of Portland Oregon and its surrounding jungles until the inevitable final confrontation in which we get to see who the better man is. But by this point, the movie is totally predictable and just becomes a gore fest until the obvious victor is left standing. If not for Del Toro’s excellent acting and some hilarity with Jones’s character, this movie would have no merit.
6/10
Nice review..short and to the point.

nice review. id have to agree, i watched this movie and thought it sucked. seemed like a tv movie to me.
This movie is shite..very poorly put together and rather bunched together story line that rushes character development. Very disappointing
4 out of 10
I'd go more into detail but I dont want to throw spoilers around

ok ok..before I go to bed...
WARNING SPOILERS
What was the point of any conversation in the transport truck?
Why did the guy say to Aaron something about not completing his mission if we werent going to find out what that mission was?
What really was the point of showing a soft side to the guy if you werent going to have a "change of heart" cliche somewhere along the line?
What was LT's reason for not responding to Aaron's letters and why did he leave the postition he had in the Military?
And WHY DID WE NOT SEE CONNIE NIELSON'S NAKED TITS ONCE!!
Argh the frustration
