Whoever voted higher than 5/5/? are groupies or label judges. The video is interlaced, dark, blurry, angled, and it's blotchy (too much noise reduction to get rid of grainy video I'm assuming). The audio is audible BUT hollow and OUT OF SYNC! Another horrible release of this film and I usually like SVCD TS's but I guess only a few groups can do it properly. Mislabeled SVCD CAM, choose carefully... you have been warned~ Bad job VideoCD! Stick to telecines or leave this release in the French scene also.

Video is dark but SLIGHTLY better than ESO release. Audio is fantastic. Nice and clear. Video is deffinately interlaced, but not too extreme, it's tolerable. This is the better release so far for this movie.

ok i saw the sample and this is sucky why video cd wanted this a svcd ill never know i dont think i want to well anyway this release is very dark and its hard 2 see everything plus the colors are bad makes you feel like your watching a tape made in the 1960's of a black and white show or cartoon lol i give this a 3/4 ? i wanna see this movie but not using eso's or videos cds 1 im thankful you guys are brinign these releases to us but something watchable please

anyone who says the audio is great needs a bullet to the brain. out of sync, regardless of how clear it may sound on your 8bit pci card, is still out of sync. oh yea, the sample was amazingly dark, you could barely make out a human head (travolta) when he was sitting in the chair talking with the patient.

Good job going internal on this, however a more forthcoming NFO would have been nice ("dark in some scenes"?). I downloaded it, and the movie is UNWATCHABLY dark. Good thing I recognized Samuel L. Jackson's voice in the opening scene, or I wouldn't have known he was on the screen, let alone anyone else. The audio is, as advertised, superb. Thanx for trying.

for the record... videocd's isnt a duplicate... videocd released basic in svcd internal 1st... then eso rlsed theres so i wouldnt say they duped eso's.

What a crapper. I downloaded the eso version thinking it would be as good as phone booth/dreamcatcher. Couldn't even see most of the characters. John TRavolta wears a black shirt a lot and it loooks like his head is floating around on the screen. Great for a black arts magic show, horrible for a ts release. So then I figured since this one is SVCD it would be better. Nope. Dark. Unwatchable. But hey it's SVCD, so I can see with much better clarity that this is a shitty release.

I never said this release should be nuked, I never said this release shouldn't have been released(at all), I judged the release by the quality. So that's what I did, I checked out the quality and reported it back to the public. And my vote stands at 2/2/? compared to other SVCD TS's (not compared to other TS's or Screeners, etc). I can't do better, it is free, but it has interlace lines all over the video, blurry/blotch/dark picture, out of sync and hollow sound so that means I do have a right to my opinion... don't like it? ask the site owner to rename the site to vcdcommentsmustbegoodtowardsanyquality.com

I can tell now that NON of u friggin gays could do 1 like this.. show some respect! VideoCD is giving you movies earlier then most ppl.. dont like this 1.. dont download it.. no one is forcing you.. And BTW.. on my WS TV, VideoCD's rls looks great!

VideoCD isn't bringing us crap but the out of sync hollow audio, there was another post about it from their previous SVCD CAM thread. They get their video from the french group NiGHT and mux their own audio (supposedly their own audio) so you have NiGHT to thank for going into the cinema with a MiniDV PAL cam to capture the video. I mean VideoCD is a decent group, but they just need some quality control.

Video sux! Too dark and too much noise reduc + temporal smoother (surely used in the deflicker process). This results in a loss of colors and details. Not worth more than a 4!

As for the audio, its not "Perfect" as they state in their nfo. It is cleary not a direct source, for U can hear a buzz and a little echo. And the bass is too high; but u can play with ur sound settings and fix it. Also worth a 4.

As for the movie, ill pas on this release. Im sure another group will release it.
