Much better quality than the "screener" they brought us before. No blurs, crisper sound and a decent SVCD encode. I'll give it a 8/7/6

Love their nfo considering they can't tell the difference between a telecine and a screener (here's a clue vcdcentral: it's vice versa of what you guys think! let the movement rule!?). decent quality but it would have looked just as good as vcd. 7/8/5

Nice, crisp clear pic, good quality sound. Only got the sample, can anyone confirm if it's got the bit after the credits and also the scenes that were cut from the UK release (Electra getting stabbed through the hand and the headbutt by kingpin)?

Well worth getting, thought this was much better than Spidey.

Cool

good quality release is what i think after watching the sample, little late of course but ppl who haven't been to the cinema yet or watched the blurry scr can have a good time now, so enjoy

About time someone says something! ( decent quality but it would have looked just as good as vcd. ) Technical here: How can a VCD at CBR 1150 bps that's bits per second - - compare to over double bit rate - -VBR Max of 2450 average of around 1600. Where the 1st pass of the encode just sets the .vaf file for multiple passes. But we have a self proclaimed Einstein that proves how smart he/she really is. As for Telecine or Screener: Who cares what they tag it, that's has nothing do do with the quality of VCDCentral releases. Keep up the great work VCDCentral and keep doing great SVCD's. I know what movement you are talking about. VBR - Higher Bit Rate above the CBR 1150. I watched the 1st CD and it is by far CRISPER, CLEANER and SHARPER. Looks Great!

B16A2, it amuses me that you actually come on here to tell a grp that their source, and their ripper know less about their rls than you do. tw_t (I'll let everyone else fill in the missing letter)

Nice rls vcdc

What your ignoring is that the total bitrate has to be divided by the number of pixels being represented by the data.

VCD is 352x240, SVCD is 480x480, which is about three times the number of pixels being represented.

So most SVCDs actually have a lower bits/pixel bitrate than VCDs.

This doesn't mean they look worse - they don't - it just means that avg bitrate isn't everything.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Very good point here: I forgot to mention the difference in resolution: How can you compare a 480 x 480 with a 352 x 240.

VCD is a mpeg1 and SVCD is mpeg2

Thanks outside_ag for sharing good post!

VCDCentral keep doing what your doing like with "Daredevil"!

OMG the quality is bad ass. The sound is top notch too. Time to go watch the thing. I hope to see more of these TC's get released by VCDCentral in the near future.

8/8/?

very nice TC. I like the fact there is no timecode either. hence the reason for the post(s) about the questionable SCR. well. if u watch the whole thing.. look for 'property of.. moo, unf, kthx"
Anyway.. incredible video and audio. i didnt really care for the movie. but i did get a lot more out of the special effects this time.

Tx VCDCentral.

and for the ppl who whine about SVCD vs VCD - is it really that big a deal? seriously, does your life depend on it? no. so stfu pls.
