uhhh, this seems too blue for a vhs screener.. hrm

I just checked out the sample and I must say that the encode is good. Only complaints I have (about the source not the encode) is that the colors are kind of dull and tape looks jumpy. And I don't know if it's just me but is the audio extremely low except when keith sutherland talks then it's normal?! There is also a high pitched noise in the background, possibly a workprint but never-the-less a nice release for something this early. 7/5/10, great film!

Better than the other rls. The aspect ratio seems a little messed up. smaller than wide screen. Decent Video.

It should, first eso release i fit it on 1 cd....very short movie...rare these days, great quality, 8 8 8

Nice enough. Weird AR though. Audio has a high-pitched whistle sound all the way through though.

Chop off the credits and throw it on 1CD. I can't help but have doubts about it's authenticity as a screener though.

Cool surprising

wow thx u surprise me, this 'scr' is very early and in the sample it looks a little weird but watchable, the audio has some high buzz but when i turn the treble down it helps so i might be watching this one if CTP isn't doing the SVCD.TS over the weekend (which i hope)
congrats thx, nice early decent rls.

7.5/7/?

Fair enough. Well, i've put it on to 1CD and tested it. all works fine. Will do me nicely until the DVD arrives now.

Posted by ABlix0 on 04-04-2003 01:33 PM:

Well, it's either see this with friends today or download the screener. Kinda dissapointed on the short length of the movie, but def will be seeing this today

time to get rid of the ESO TS...

Posted by B16A2 on 04-04-2003 03:18 PM:

After watching this release and already having watched the eso release, I can definitely say this copy is a workprint. All of the sound in the phone booth scene and the scenes around the streets of NYC are muted (not completely but muted non the less). Voices in scenes filmed at other locations are fine, music and sound effects are also ok, although the sound is still pretty low though. Some scene changes are different from the telesync and compared to mib's jpeg, this release is overly cropped much more than what was needed to be cropped out (the fox logo at the beginning proves it). 5/2/10, tsk tsk... I almost believed I something to archive, don't say I didn't try to warn yall.

Most of you guys are judging on the jpeg/short sample/label, and it's not 1CD MG... alot of you are going to be disappointed soon

Posted by Movieguy on 04-04-2003 03:22 PM:

sweet

nice quality 7/7/8 and whats even better is this doesnt even hit theatres untill tonight here in the states so a screener the same day as theatre rls is very sweet :-)

oh yeah and all on 1cd even sweeter

Posted by dvdude on 04-04-2003 04:02 PM:

nice screener! well.. they released a screener of this before this 1... it had swedish subtitles.. this one is SAME source but the subtitles is removed.. u miss like 1CM at the bottom of the film.. but WHO cares?!.. just watched the movie with swedish subtitles and it kicked as!

Posted by petrocs on 04-04-2003 04:26 PM:
