Oh I hear the Trekkies crying everywhere
Patrick Stewart: No More TREK for Me
In a recent interview with Cinema Confidential, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION actor Patrick Stewart said that he likely won't be in another TNG movie. "I don't think so," Stewart said. "I think THE NEXT GENERATION is over with. I've probably said goodbye to Picard forever now."

I'm glad the Next Generation has had its run.. Now its time to give it to DS9 and let them have their shot. Personally i think DS9 would suit having 3 films made back to back with an arc running through them. Arc storytelling was always what DS9 did best and in my opinion made it the best of the Trek francises.
So.. film 3 DS9 films back to back and have a cliffhanger trailing off 1 and 2.
Infact, let me write my DS9 trilogy and present it to Paramount. I want everyone to stop buying or watching Paramount products until they read my idea!!

DS9 had a great following and while its true that the ratings dipped during the early seasons once it hit season 4 with the Dominion War and Worfs arrival the shows ratings matched that of TNG.
This cant be said for Voyager or Enterprise.

Being a trekker (not trekkie for you people who have no idea!
) I'm glad that TNG is finally over. I thought it had gone too far as it was.
Any other movie(s) would have to be written well, either for DS9 or Voyager, which was a great show as well.
Here's hoping they do something great with the last two franchise (Enterprise sucks ass, wrong place at the wrong time for me).
