Who wants Wolverine or an Elektra spinoff??

I think Wolverine having his own movie would be pretty cool. But I'm not so warm on the idea of Elektra from Daredevil getting her own movie. I think she would be better off bringing her back in Daredevil 2? Anyone know how she comes back to life? I'm not aware on how she comes back in the comics. Also, how about Kevin Smith writing for Daredevil 2? Good idea? Maybe a cameo by Jay & Silent Bob?

Ok.. There will be an Elektra film. Its slated for 2004 with Daredevil 2 queued up in 2005. She will be in both!

As for how she comes back? Who Knows! In the comics there was a group of Demon Ninjas who Elektra was trained by called 'The Hand' to become an assassin. They dug up her body with the intention of making her their servant. It goes on but the Bottom line is DD shows up, uses his willpower to cleanse the mindcontrol demons the Hand have inflicted on her.. There's a fire and Matt is left wondering if Elektra was resurrected ok.

Now.... Elektra actually dies again but... well we really don't want to go there and its a sore spot for DareDevil fans!

Anyway big thumbs up for an Elektra spin-off....Of course you all knew I was gonna say that anyway!

WEll they never say if she dies in the DD film BUT at the end if you remeber correctly, MAtt finds that necklace that is identical to the one Elektra always has on but it's in brail, indicating that Elektra is indeed alive....

The only 2 spinoffs that deserves to be done at this time is Gambit and Wolverine.. Elektra would tank. Daredevil sucked and made 1/2 of what they expected it to make so it is being considered a bomb in many circles..they will still make a 2nd one and unfortunately an Elektra movie to somehow kick start this franchise which I think is a total waste fo time

Had it been released in May. It would have done twice its box office. It actually did well for the time it was released.

Indeed.. Infact they said it exceeded all expectations in terms of Box Office takings!

Thats not true at all. The movie made a bundle in its first week and dropped 55% in its 2nd weekend and its 3rd weekend dropped a further 38.5%. Why? Cause the movie turned some parents off to bringing their kids cause of the "sexual content" (the scene by the fireplace) and violence. The other children and parents saw it and didnt go back a second time like they did with Spider Man OR They didnt go at all cause it got panned by the critics and every comic book fan and Daredevil fan I know said the movie was right on with being dark but that they were turned off by the casting of Dardevil and therefore would not see the movie again. This movie could've been opened July 4th weekend and it still would've made $100,679,927 ($69,000,000 overseas). To most movies that would be a rousing success..to the high expectations of a comic book legend like Daredevil thats an average box office pull. Believe me..I've been following the box office charts for longer than I can remember and I shit you not when I say this was a bomb to standard no matter what season it opened

Well part of the problem for Daredevil to achieve higher box office earnings. Was the publics lack of knowledge who Daredevil was. Everyone knows who Spiderman was. But not many people didn't know who Daredevil was. Also from what I seen and I'm not being rascist either. Is that many of the black population went to see Spiderman. But I would dare say. Less than 10% of the black population didn't know who Daredvil was either. Thus, they did not come out in droves to go see it. The original Xmen movie came nowhere close to what Spiderman did. But mark my word X2 will fair better at the box office that the first Xmen done. I project and 80-90 million first weekend. I beleive the first Xmen did 45 million the first weekend. I do think Daredevil 2 will have a bigger opening than the first movie done.

I would watch the Elektra spinoff.
Even though I'm totally against spinoffs (The Scorpion King *vomit*), Jennifer Garner really played a good Elektra and as long as the movie has a good script, I can see it being good.
A Wolverine spinoff would be stupid I think. In the 2 XMen movies, Wolverine is the star and pretty much the only real interesting X man, so why would he need to have his own movie? Just make a few more Xmen movies till we get sick of him.

However, a Nightcrawler spinoff about his days in the circus would be cool. Nightcrawler rules!
