i've actually not watched any of this so far, i've been waiting for the whole thing i know someone on usenet has done some VERY nice encodes and made a DVD up of all the bits that have been flying around (i've never seen a QT > MPEG2 look so good, and you know how critical i am) so i might check out the final of that one too, just to see how it differs....

Only four of the shorts will have been released with exception to Final Flight of Osiris that was paired with Dreamcatcher..

So basically this will contain all nine shorts.. maybe some filler dunno

No worries.. was just trying to clear things up before the thread got to far and people that would argue about it being a screener or a dvdrip..

yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes...

no more hunting for the individual segements

i've seen the first 3, and if they're any indication, the other 6'll be amazing...

going by the sample...

9/10/?

:EDIT:

I had the sample, but came accross the DVL release...i like my XVIDs, so i grabbed it...I just deleted both he DVL and DVL "fixed" copies from my HD, cause the XVID at 830kbps with 128 audio simply diddn't do this fine release justice...the SVCD is much better all around, and it's in sync

9/10/10

IDIOT. It's because they are on the DVD. the free ones are online to get you to buy the DVD. Pillock.

i agree with mr slippers there, you're an idiot. they're releasing all different types online for free so as to appeal to everyone. for example, second renaissance pt 1 has an excellent story to it, for any diehard matrix fan; program is some nice anime but a rather crappy story and dialogue in my opinion, and detective story is neat but nothing special

for those reading this, quit reading and download this NOW. quality is good, basically like any dvdrip - although if your comp can handle the high/ultra res versions of the quicktime files on theanimatrix.com those might be better quality...depends who you ask.

i've only watched three so far, two of them being ones ive already seen, and after seeing the second renaissance pt 2, i will DEFINETLY be purchasing this on june 3rd. the second renaissance was spectacular.

Posted by ShortFuse on 05-03-2003 04:55 AM:

is it just me, or is the audio out of sync by ms as you progress through the film (noticable when a hand smashes a fly during The Second Renaissance Part I)

Posted by adam1185 on 05-03-2003 08:03 AM:

No it's not just you. Audio is fine at the start then starts going out of sync later.

Posted by napalmfuzz on 05-03-2003 09:00 AM:

i had no audio synch problems
