Well it is the first DVDRip, the other rls was a DVDSCR.
Nice one CTP, i will think about picking up this one, since I have the DVDSCR and did not like the movie, how it was hyped up to be.

the point of this rls is that there are no other svcd dvdrips
is that a good enough reason?

well actually there is... the dvd screeners i believe. oh well. i agree with you, though. retails will always be released no matter how good the dvd screeners are (if in fact there were any).

good release. personally, i hate movies like this and others like it.

Is this rip actually any good (i aint got sources as good as yours so no!, i ain't seen a sample), cos some of centropy dvdrips suck ass (maybe thats why they put "proper at your discretion" in the nfo) And the colours looked iffy in the dvd screener, ill have to check this out.

How are you rating the video and audio without actually having the movie????

Nice job ctp...

i dont know if i should spend my time downloading this since i got the dvdscr(probably everyone does)....."FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION" isn't that annoying..

i might considering d/ling the dvdrip if i can get nice d/l speeds

the 'for your consideration' wasn't that bad, but the sound in the dvdscr svcd was horrible, this is very much needed, not to mention the red tinted black bars, oh well, Id rather wait and get the extended edition dvd, but at less than a dollar for 4 cd's, i think Ill grab this one too

Grabbed the sample, looks good. The screener message wasn't all that bad, but the audio was terrible on the screener. Centropy did a much better job doing the 48 kHz -> 44.1 kHz conversion, so you don't get that horrible clipping/distortion.

EDIT:
--------
Heres better info use ctrl+f and search for watermark

http://www.vcdquality.com/faq.php

BTW the screener didn't have watermarks, it had screener messages, which are different things.

Release is good for those who want to archive (but at 4CD's it kind of makes ME look in the other direction), and the Two Towers DVD Screener released 5+ months ago was enough to hold me off until LOTR3 DVD Screener Nice release though Centropy!

Agree.

I wouldn't be downloading this if it weren't for that messed up audio in the tdi dvd scr.
