Review:(2003) Wrong Turn-Eliza Dushuku
I know I have been touting Eliza as the star of this movie, but the movie focuses on vitural unknown Desmond Harrington as the star in this 70's Horror/Thrilller.
From the producers of T2 and I know what you did last Summer, Wrong Turn tells the story of Chris who gets news that the company he is applying to has accepted an job interview, but he has to travel to Raleigh North Carolina. While on the way to North Carolina, he gets into an automobile accident that makes his 3 hour trip turn into a 6 hour one.
Determined not to let accident slow him down. Chris Makes a complete U-turn up into the wilderness state of West Virginia, where he literally comes into another accident, a group of 5 friends led by Jesse (played by the gorgeous Eliza Dushuku) and her friends Carly (Emmanuelle Chriqui), Scott (Jeremy Sisto) Carly' guy, Evan (Kevin Zegers), and Francine (Lindy Booth), who are stranded when the car as a 4 tire blow out.
Seeing that no one is hurt, and lost, the group band's together to try and get help, but thats when the trouble really starts as they come upon a cabin filled with horrific trophies, and Evan and Francine are brutally murder by 3 grissly mountain men.
The friends are now in a race for their lives, as they realize they are not alone anymore.
Wrong Turn is brutally violent, its in the style of 70's horror movie deliverance as well as I know what you did last Summer.
Personally I would have give this movie an NC-17 rating, but producers had cut scenes to secure the R rating.
See it folks, Wrong Turn is sure to scare the shirt off your backs.
Wrong is rated R for graphics violence, and sexual situations, language, and Drug Use.
MPAA had rejected all previews of this movie cause it was just plain violence.
I really did like this movie.
Wrong Turn is openning in theatres on May30, 2003, and my rating gets a 8.75 out of 10.

One time, my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room! So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to ‘em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....
