Wow, very niceeee!!

Not too sure about the audio, but it's good. Very good. Clean and colourful.

Very good work.

9/7/X

:: edit - for those about to moan and say "eww, what are those lines on the screen?", this is coz it's shot like an old Docu so it's posed to look old. Spinal Tap 2! YAY

9/8/?

Judging from sample it looks better then any CTP release

move over CTP here comes VCDCentral

*claps aloud*

very very nice, VideoCD. its hard to compare this to CTP's Matrix SVCD from yesterday (because this one is very colorful compared to dark scenery of Matrix), but, after comparing the two samples this is a better release than CTP's Matrix svcd ts.

9/8/x

:: VCDCentral dear. -M$

i've heard alot about this movie, and am looking forward to seeing more than the sample. this is by the people that did best in show right?

i wouldn't say "move over CTP", cause they're most consistant, and do almost every release, but this is a work of art indeed.

It's not shot to look like an old documentary. The story stems off a folk music producer dying in the year 2003 and the concert his son wants to make to commemorate him in two weeks. I saw it in theatres, so there! I've found that at the worst theatres I've gone too, sometimes the projector/reel is screwed up and there are lines going across the screen. I found this when I saw The Two Towers for the second time, on vacation. (The first time I saw it on a nice screen, obviously ) Nonetheless, it's a great telesync and a great movie. I see no use waiting for a screener for this one, because the sound isn't bad, and the video has enough color as it is. And it's not an action flick, just a flick to laugh your ass off.

Sample doesn't do jutice! A must watch across your TV.

Sample doesn't do jutice! A must watch across your TV.

Watching CD1 now for almost an hour. WOW! Interlace what's that? No interlace in this CD1 anywhere (NO INTERLACE ANYWHERE!), and the sample came from this CD. Oh, but I forgot some of you do your comments on just watching a sample using old computer systems where the mpeg media players cause interlace artifacts. Watch the CD across a TV it is great. Sound is good, not great hard wired sound, but clear. This is so clear that you can see scratches on the film print. I have to say VCDCENTRAL's last svcd TS sucked. "Raising Victor Vargas", as stated it was their 1st shot at TS SVCD. Someone was doing their homework, cause this is a quantum leap into the realm of great quality in SVCD Telesync. Keep doing what your doing. Get a little experience under your belts and we will all love to see your name as we love to see Centropy's, because we know that the quality goes with the name.

Can't wait for your next release!

Truely great! They say it's homemade, and I sure hope it is. They could really make an impression on the scene.

/me crosses fingers in hopes this isn't a one time thing

I just hope that they did make this themselves, cause this looks lovely. The picture is so crisp and the colours are so true and vibrant. Hope to see more releases like this then we can all say "Think I will wait for the VCDCentral version" especially if they release the Hulk in quality like this.

Posted by temp0 on 05-20-2003 12:03 AM:

This is absolutely outstanding. They've gone from some of the worst quality I've ever seen in my life (Victor Vargas -- excellcent movie, BTW) to probably the cleanest TS I've ever seen in just one release.

Hey VCDCentral, let's get a Matrix Reloaded and X2 PROPER - NO LENO CHIN.

Great film from the same team as Spinal tap, waiting for Gruffman and Best in show.
Video's good, but isn't this a mis-labled cam?
I can hear laughter from the audience.

I was hoping someone would release this, thanks guys. I'm halfway through watching the first Cd, and this is a really nice release. Pics great, sound is a bit hollow but not bad by any means. The movie itself is funny as hell so far, if you liked Best in Show, or Waiting for Guffman be sure to get this one. Hope to see more releases like this from you guys in the future, keep up the good work..

perspective

hey, one thing... this movie has been out for what some would consider 'a little while'... not knocking their quality or trying to toot centropy's horn, but the reality is that given time im sure any release team could do the same thing... by all means, i hope this raises the bar, and all us g34rh34d5 can d/l all the prime shit for free in the best quality... but the fact that i can even do that is what i dig on... so keep up the good work... that means both teams... hell, share your secrets...

thats my 2 cents

Laughing out LOUD!!!
Not, too bad... But ummm, quit saying move over centropy, they have been in the scene for 4 years, these guys have been in for a couple months, IMO Centropy has many years to come with great quality releases and SVCD TS, this is just a group trying to immitate centropy releases.... but not to bad.. just my two sense....
