IMAX Wait Is Over
THE MATRIX RELOADED reloads on IMAX June 6
When the IMAX Corporation announced it had struck a deal with Warner Bros. to show THE MATRIX RELOADED customized for its IMAX-sized screens, fans wanted to know when they could expect to see giant versions of Neo and Trinity fighting in bullet-time. At the time IMAX only said that their version of RELOADED would come out shortly; now we know when that is. The IMAX version of THE MATRIX RELOADED will open one week from tomorrow on June 6.
The company plans to widen the release of RELOADED to the rest of their chain of theaters in the coming months. THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS will open on IMAX screens in tandem with the picture's standard theatrical debut on November 5.

I will...oh, I will...
Seen it too many times at the theatres and too many times lying on my ass at home, I probablly wont touch this movie till it comes out on DVD. It would have been better if they'd opened it a week after opening (22nd) as I imagine more people would still be hyped about it.
I will be attending the one in Baltimore...I really can't wait...its going to be an amazing experience...Ducati chase on a HUGE screen *DROOL*!!!!!!

ah, thanks for this news, petrocs. I had been foolishly trying to keep myself informed by contacting the local IMAX, which never seems to update its phone message ...
/me is excited.
Well, ladies and gents, I finally got my ass over to IMAX to see Matrix: Reloaded tonight, and it was amazing.
For one, I'm just glad I got to see the movie a second time all the way through (I had only been rewatching certain segments at home), but seeing it at IMAX was simply a treat. Everything feels just so much more tangible on the huge screen -- you feel surrounded by the audio and the visuals. The explosions and the fake fighting sounds reverberate through your body. (Unfortunately, so do those awful songs in the end credits that you have to sit through if you want to watch the Matrix 3 trailer.)
Simply not to be missed. Especially if you've only seen it once in the theater.
