-- Ripley's Game *CAM* *SVCD* - CAM - Cheetah-DV (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=20647)
Picture is ok, sound is audible so in all it looks decent, as does the movie. Talented Mr. Ripley wasn't that bad, but this replaces Malkovich with Damon, so I look forward to watching this one. Nice Cheetah-DV, keep it up. 6/6/x
nice nice.
7/8/X
Great pic, less pixellation that VideoCD's - thanks to the SVCD format - pretty good sound, very watchable.
Movie itself is much better than The Talented Mr. Ripley, definitly a watcher.
Keep up the good work!
7/8/8

I personally am content with the VCD version, but had the SVCD been released first I would have chosen it.
Good luck to Cheetah-DV with that Christmas list.
Edit: After finishing watching the movie, I give it a 7 too.

hmmm seems like every release is SVCD lately - I'm not complaing it clears up the pixalation a treat!.
I've never seen "Talented Mr.Ripley" so can't comment on what this is like as a follow-up/pre-qual.
The film is good but every thing with Ray Winston in has always been good.
as cam's go.....
video 7
audio 6
film 7
