Doubt you'll see a directors cut, the movie was limited as hell in it's release and the DVD didn't even gross very much, it's a damn shame though cause it was a great flick.

it was just like the matrix reloaded? hmm.. interesting.. i saw no connections whatsoever between any matrix and equilibrium.. so please explain your comment,,cause to my knowledge.. A. there was no army of machines burroing to librium to destroy mankind.. and to my knloledge there were no opressing forms of government forcing people to take drugs to supress their emotions in the matrix.. so im quite interested to see if you can back this statement up

only connection i could come up with is that they both had awesome fight scenes and good acting.

Wow, identical.

indeed, because Matrix Reloaded had an amazing plot for those who (a) bothered to pay attention and (b) have at least an 8th grade understanding of literature.

Only thing I dislike is how they took Farenheit 451 and splashed in a bit of 1984, with a sprinkling of Matrix-style fight scenes. Cool concepts, but not doing justice from the books it was based.

the only thing that makes matrix style fight scenes matrix style fight scenes.. is the stylish camera work.. as far as the action in equllibrium... its pretty much honk kong gun play.. which was done way before matrix was even a concept
