*from sample*

Not a bad first release nox.Cam's are Cam's and this is no differece really. Not sure if my daughter could stand this quality so I'll wait on another release. Can't see a cam of this working anyway, better find a kids magazine with free 3d glasses as well.
6/6/?

HEllo-o-o-o-o-o hahah thats what audio sounds like.. very very hollow and distant. Picture lives to its name of being very camish... Lol and i dont know how you can cam a 3D movie... But if it is 3D still, id be amazed. Someone lol who wants to see whole thing, break out the 1950's 3D shades and let us know if it really is =)

i was wondering when he was gonna get banned for talking back :P

anyways, i diddn't expect a cam/ts of this...i assumed that there would be distortion on the screen cause of the 3D thing, but it's been like 15 yrears since i saw a 3D movie, and i'm obviously wrong :P

getting there, nox

good enough to get the wife off my back...sample gets a 6/5/?

Cool

The movie uses normal red and blue 3D glasses. I stole a pair of the official Spy Kids 3D glasses from the company that was editing it when I was on a tour of it.

Well Where the fuck do you get 3d glasses?

i have no idea, but i'm assuming that the 3D thing won't work on a cam/ts...

I have a pair of the official 3D glasses. I stole them from the company that was editing the film. They're just normal red and blue 3D glasses. They should work with this vid.

Video is blocky and pixelated. About 10 minutes into the movie audio goes out of synch. Still good for the kiddies..

I haven't seen the sample or the full release yet, but why shouldn't the 3D thing work? I mean it's the same thing as when you record a 3D nature, wildlife documentary with your vidplayer. It works fine. There is nothing special. Try it.

Posted by CaptHowdy on 07-24-2003 03:02 AM:

Sound is hollow, picture is grainy (good for a 3-D movie cam possibly), and not even 3-D glasses can save this hunk of crap.
5/4/1.
PS. Freddies dead was the last 3-D movie I saw (1993 ?); in the theatres it looked great, but when it came out on video I used the same glasses as the theatre and they didn't do Jack. Mind you it would be hell to give out 3-D glasses to everyone that rented the movie...

Posted by parasiticgann on 07-24-2003 05:08 AM:

When you go the theatre to see this film, The theatre give you the glasses, At least that is how it used to be. So I would imagine that is how it is now.

6/5/? kinda curious if this is any good, Are the first 2 any good?

Posted by plonk420 on 07-24-2003 12:55 PM:

dammit, a blue-and-red 3d type movie. our theater got a HUGE FUCKING box of these but we haven't opened it yet. oh well, guess i'll see how good/bad it is thursday evening ^_^

Posted by mfavic89 on 07-24-2003 03:02 PM:

I dont know if anyone bothered to look @ it...but the nfo says to grab the 3D glasses...(so im guessing the 3d works)

picture was bad....sound was bad

5/5/?

Guess you can't sneak into this movie then...but who'd wanna sneak into spy kids 3d anyways?

I might download it just for the 3d effect .

pics blurry(and i mean in the no 3d bit lol)
is it me or is the audio about 3 years out of sync?
will wait to go hunting for a par of 3d specs , not a great release,
sound very hollow,sync issues
5 for sound 5 for movie qual,

Pic: A little below Nox's previous quality but watchable 7
Audio: What else would a person expect from a cam 6

Good to release this internally. It's worth putting out as such a big movie but it leaves room for improvement.

On a side note... the red/blue 3d effect is a very simple one. You draw two outlines of a shape, one in red one in blue. Place them accordingly then the audience watches and one eye sees the blue, one eye sees the red. Since they are a little offset this simulates 3d. This effect will work in any medium since its just a simple picture. The other 3d, the real one, uses polarized glasses and wouldn't work with a cam copy because its a more complicated image.
