this one is actually pretty good.. maybe the best yet

8/7/6

Posted by seppp on 08-14-2003 02:45 AM:

Thumbs up

Well this is a better release then the Spy Kids 3d movie. And is also the best release of SWAT out there so far. Video got a little blue tint it(I think i gotta check my eyes )
Audio is ok.

6.0/7.0/8.0

I would grab this one, a nother release isnt really necassary.

Good work with this one Matine.

Dont let the PG13 bullshit screw the movie for you, it is violent.

WELL, i personally havent seen this release, but my m8 tipped me off to it about 3-4 hours ago, and let me know not to bother cuz its the worst one out yet, i did see nforce has now nuked tcs saying its a bad proper, get this one, however i dont understand that concidering tcs wasnt a proper to begin with. he has had all previous copies of this movie, and is a pretty reliable source, although i could be wrong.. just a little something FYI b4 u go wasting ur bandwidth

The TcS version was excellent, and I have no idea why everyone is so anxious to try (and fail) to proper something that didn't need propering in the first place. How about a viewable (and no gong-sounding) Spy Kids 3-D???

Posted by napalmfuzz on 08-14-2003 04:05 AM:

if memory serves me correctly.. this is some of the most pixelated video ive seen in a while.. it rivals some streaming WMV even..

audio is .. bleh.. its not horrible.. its not great.. its somewhere in between balls and acceptable

ive just watched the sample and all i gotta say is why release another crap release when there are already plenty of crap releases of this film out

ok i know its free but this release is just pointless in my opinion

Posted by masta_spl on 08-14-2003 07:53 AM:

Thumbs down

judging from the sample this one blows and the PHVCD is much better!

uh, the audio in the TcS release sucked, it was really hollow/no bass at all...and with all the guns shooting it detracted from the gunfighting scenes since you couldn't get a good sense of what was going on audiologically...i hope this one turns out to be better :P get at least a half decent home theater system to listen to the movie/sample on before you go making claims that the TcS release was excellent; the picture was good but the audio sucked...

as for this release, we shall see..

PEACE

This doesnt have a 'little blue tint to it'. It has A LOT! Everything is blue throughout the movie. Washed out colors. Very nice sound.

6/8/8

Posted by whatever on 08-14-2003 11:58 AM:

Not the best ts i've seen, although the sound seems to be ok (indicating that this is a real ts not a cam), picture is slightly dark and there is a LOT of noise in the picture and it's not very sharp.

Posted by someth1ng on 08-14-2003 06:39 PM:

Please, people, stop with the "I'll wait for ctp" crap. There will be no more ctp svcd ts's for a while if ever....in any event, crap rls, no need to proper TcS rls in the first place. 4/4/?

Posted by Gina1258 on 08-14-2003 09:11 PM:

does this one have the ending or is it missing 20 minutes too?

Posted by Premiere on 08-14-2003 11:51 PM:

It’s obvious some of you people have not seen the sample. Slight blue tint in some parts of the movie, but not the whole thing. Yes it is pixely but the image is sharp and the colors are way better then the other releases. Audio has weird feel to it but kills the other releases. The movie is complete and not from a PDVD that obviously the groups all used (Same Source). Most of you people complain about silvers. I credit this group for putting in the work and making there very own pieces of art. Now if they could get rid of the pixilation I think they might have a chance of being great. If you notice both of their releases where flicker free and where consistent with great colors. Anyways, I rate this release 7 for video, 8 for audio, and the movie all around sucked so a 6. You can predict the whole movie before anything happens.

If you don’t have a copy yet and you want to see the movie now, download this one, If not wait for a better copy.

Posted by Jdigital03 on 08-15-2003 04:51 AM:

finally a decent release good work maTine

7/8/7 typical action flick but some cool action scenes make up for lack of plot....just my 2 cents tho!

Posted by whatever on 08-15-2003 09:41 AM:

It's true that it doesn't have a blue tint all the time, sometimes it seems more like a red/purple tint.
Still... the colors suck and it's NOT sharp.

Posted by psyche on 08-15-2003 11:14 AM:

I advise most to wait for a TC/SCREENER/DVDRIP but if you can't wait (or choose not to since the film isn't that great), there is yet another copy out -> S.W.A.T.iNTERNAL.PROPER.SVCD.TS.REPACK-ESOTERiC. Here's the info file:

This echo'ed in one of my channels since last night but I haven't been able to get a hold of it until a few hours ago and I'll have to agree with the info. I've previewed all 4 releases and this seems like the most promising I guess.

TCS - motion blur/squashed AR/washed out colors/blurry/static audio but good image overall.
ESO - motion blur/fixed AR/better colors/sharper/scratchy audio and MISSING 20 minutes dumbasses (they brought that upon themselves).
PHVCD - Same as TCS but fixed AR, unfiltered video and audio.
MATINE - blueish tint/decent AR/ok colors but dark around the edges/grainy but sharp/best audio out of the 4 but pixelated. Pixelation on a high action film can get ugly but overall good. It would be MUCH better if they had better encoders.
ESO REPACK - motion blur/fixed AR/best colors/sharper/audio seems filtered better than their 1st copy and this time COMPLETE! but hard as hell to get a hold of, I had to dig through dirt to find this one.

Like I said, either wait for a TC/SCR/DVD but if you want it now choose between the MaTiNE or ESO Repack. Maybe someone can mux the ESO Repack video with MaTiNE sound and voila! An internal real proper repack complete kickass ts

Posted by CATBOX on 08-16-2003 09:35 PM:

Stick with TcS!!!! I read about the Matine release having a blue "tint". Well, its more like looking through an aquarium with blue water. Its very blue. It does clear up, then get worse again, but the colors are very bad. This is not anywhere close to the TcS release. The pictuer has lots of noise/static. The only thing this release has going for it is the sound. Its clear, its loud. TcS's had better sound than many people gave it credit for. It has a problem with the real high treble sounds. It fuzzes out just a bit on the high frequencies much like the old Blue Crush TS did. Its totally understandable, and clear most of the time. And I havent seen anything about an ESO repack. The ESO release was crap to begin with, why bother repacking it with the end?

Just because it isn't on VCDQuality doesn'y mean it doesn't exist. It's the same pdvd source as TCS's so if it was crap to begin with then you're saying the TCS version was crap. The ESO version fixes the AR, saturates the colors, sharpens the release and filtered the audio to be less scratchy and distorted. Trust me, I found the internal and it is best one out of the 4. The only reason it got a low rating the first time was because it was missing 20 mins other than that the repack exceeds the rest. Just my 2 cents from having viewed all 4.

Ihave SWAT on svcd,it seemed to have about 10 mins missing from end when i played it on my yukia stand alone, but when i played thru power dvd it worked fine,a little blocky on 2nd disc but watchable.
Apart from every thing else i did not think it was that good.
