I have the mintek 1600 but I want a Progessive Scan Dvd Player

So, I have a mintek 1600, which plays every damn thing I throw at it, the downfall is that it doesn't have support for progessive scan, and some other audio options. Which is fine except that when I am going to get my big screen hdtv, I want a progressive scan dvd player with all the functionality that the mintek 1600 such as being able to play svcd and vcd.

I can hear you saying but if you're watching VCD and SVCD then you don't need progressive scan, well, it will be also used for regular dvds too, nice to have an all in one unit instead of switching dvd players.

Looking for CD-R, DVD+R, MP3, VCD,SVCD, Digital/Optical Audio output support in a progressive scan dvd player single or multiple trays.

Which Progressive Scan Dvd players do you suggest?

I would have a look at the new Kiss DP-1000. This will play everything you can throw at it, including AVI files. It is also progressive scan and is the size of an A4 sheet of paper. It's what I am buying.

**FALLS IN LOVE** My dvd player plays mpg's and asf's but no divx or Xvid that would be great i also dont have optical out only coax but it does have progressive scan
