Niether, unless you have the addon which will allow it to play VCDs. Don't know about it playing SVCDs though.

hmm... the original ps did play VCDS, but you had to convert it to .pss video.. too much work i guess. and APEX.. they are the worst DVD/VCD players EVER!!!
