-- Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines *SVCD* - SCREENER - TCF (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=27399)
Very nice screener. Great audio too. But the drawback is it is FS and not WS.
I'll hold on to the TC and the Drunk Edition for now until DVD is available.
Great work though TCF!
8/10/8
WOW! TCF another great release i never grabbed the "telecine" of this movie, the sample is sweeeeeeeeet! Keep up the good work! =D 9/9/8
fantastic color. 9 pass vbr? i bet that took like a day and a half to encode.
FS is a drawback for sure.
gonna grab it anyway kuz im such a leech.

My First Post
Just got the sample and what can i say ,
video 8, just cos it's FS.
audio 9, sweet streams.
movie 7, could of been better.
as for 9 pass vbr, i can do a 5 pass DVD in 8hrs so i would say maybe 14-16hrs, but it's worth it.
Excellent quality, this will keep me going till the dvd rip comes out sometime next month (hopefully).
Great work TCF
9/10/8
From Sample
Video : A little pixilation and grainyness to the picture, the colors and brightness seemed right on the money though. Full Screen
Audio : Nice and clear, as you would expect from TCF. No complaints here.
Well, this is kinda wierd, TCF went SVCD for this VHS Screener, to preserve quality which I admire, great job TCF. However, due the the source, I'm gonna stick with my TELECINE ( Not TELESYNC kids ) because the picture quality is by far superior. I'll be skipping this download ( A first for a TCF release ). Where oh where can my DVDRip be, oh where oh where can it be.
Props to TCF anyways, good work boys.
Based on VHS Screener:
Video : 9/9/7.5
VHS Screeners aren't gonna look much prettier then this.

lol
Will edit this after i get it.
9 pass is pointless.....it has been shown that anything over 5 pass in CCE doesn't give you any better quality...
:: maybe not for vhs and the majority of dvds, but some superbit dvds and hdtv streams it *does* make a difference going over 5 passes. - cC.
anywho, good release.... 8 (not WS)/9/7
cool quality very good
to bad its fullscreen

this version is brighter but the telecine version still looks more clean and polished despite it being too dark. the screener is a little too bright. As for it not being widescreen, well that depends on your taste i guess. The WS version crops portions of the top and bottom image, while the FS version crops the left and right. Up to you.
Video Quality: 8 (as good as a vhs screeners going to get)
Audio Quality: 10 (no distortion, nice and clear)
FS vs. WS? If you like to see more of the unimportant parts of the movie like whats on the left and right then WS is for you. If you care about the important center focused scenes with more image on top and botom then the FS is for you.
Altho T3 is a 2.35:1 WS film, the FS version doesnt crop much out. (atleast nothing important). i dont think its important to see the extra wall or plant, that doesn't add anything to the movie.
Looks great, but the "TC" will hold me over until the DVD comes out.
7(for being FS)/9/10

DVD screener should be coming out soon, retail DVD projected date 11/11/03.
:: yes because every film gets a dvd screener doesn't it? -pHo
all i can say is wow. this release looks great, i thought tcf should have done x2 in svcd, but i think every scr they do should be done in svcd after viewing this beauty. a vhs tape cannot look any better than this, great job tcf raising the bar again.

Turn my head up,

So many years,
I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up
and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly
pfft everyone says WS? Me likes full screen Great job TCF judging from the sample 9/9/8
8/9/8
10/10/10 (rating on vhs screeners)
By far one of the best vhs screeners I have seen. Looking to more quality releases like this.
So am I the only one that has the 1 second delay on the audio on this release or what? Can't believe this wasn't nuked for video/audio sync. 9/6/9
*from film*
my post yesterday was removed for some odd reason.Great screener. You usually notice some pale colours when watching a screener but the fact this is SVCD cleans it up a fair bit. Also in some of the fast paced scenes you can see slight pixelation but it would have been worse if VCD.
9/9/7
