Review: The Strokes - Room On Fire (2003)
I'll keep this review short n sweet. This album is bland. It goes nowhere and lacks any form of hit song. I'm disappointed. Very disappointed.
FINAL SCORE: 3/10
well, there's no hit song so the people who were fans the MTV and Rolling Stone exposure will enjoy it.
12:51 is quite pleasant. Reminds me of the weekend.
Album is Great
The Strokes are a real surprise among a lot of BS thats pumped out onto the radio. I dig the vintage rock sound and catchy tunes of both their albums. Them along with bands like the Stripes, Vines and Hives are some of the best rock out there right now in my opinion and this album is just another good choice for the deck.
It's amazing the crap people are listening to these days bands like Linkin Park or Avril Lavigne the self proclaimed "new Sid Vicious" . Theres was a month there you could not escape Avril Lavigne . The sheep will buy whatever they are force fed buy the music industry and Walmart. You could sell them anything.

Don't get me wrong, i thought Is This It? was a great album. But this new album seriously disappointed me. It just contained nothing. Nothing that sparked my interest at all.
