I'm glad this got released also, when is this due out to rent/buy? It seems somewhat new but I can't remember.

Also, how is the quality compared to recent Screeners? (non dvd svcd screeners)

Posted by SpankyDaPimp on 05-16-2002 04:33 AM:

Quality is up to par, lets just say that. The Retail DVD isnt until late July. July 23rd to be exact. I hope this helped.

nice rls , pitty it took so long...... but thx for it at last!

Posted by Frukkost on 05-17-2002 07:21 PM:

Pic/audio is really good, imo.. but the "property of bla bla.." that pops a bit too often was kinda annoying.

Posted by Truman on 05-18-2002 01:01 AM:

huh wot do u expect its a screener if u want use tmpeg and crop it .... the quality is wot is in question here u silly billy..

Posted by Frukkost on 05-18-2002 02:34 AM:

heh.. i know what to expect from screeners, i dont care if it pops once in a while... the annoying part is that it pops up too often, like every 5-10 min or something.

But its not like i stopped watching, the movie is still great quality.. nice job TEG

I just finished watching it, thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I noticed a few clicks and pops in the sound but it didn't spoil it. Picture went a bit blocky when the bits of the time machine were spinning round, but I've seen that on many a VCD during fast-motion scenes.

just watched this one and i was amazed. it's a great quality, real high quality vhs!
i really enjoyed it, the movie is quite good, too

only thing, as said, artifacts during fast scenes (which are because of the vcd format itself , and there's a coloured margin at the top of the picture and the usual white line at the bottom, but after all, it's great!

i didn't notice any sound clicks, btw.

big props to teg for the scr's lately!

The best site I know of for release dates is www.videoeta.com. They have a rockin newsletter too. I recommend signing up for it.
