scary movie 3...why?

i dont understand why scary movie 3 is rated pg-13 when the other two were very explicit. can somebody explain this to me please?

they want to make more money. they realize half the people that saw the first two snuck into the theater because they were too young. now they are making an attempt to regain the money they've lost.

apparently they screened it in my hometown at one of the cinemas, and the response came back very positive. have to wait n see.

i enjoyed the first 2 but this one was not as good(yes i have seen it - and you will to soon!!!!)
maybe its cos i expected it to make me laugh out load like the others and my expectations were to high(or maybe i wasnt high!!!)
somke good jokes but it seems to be a bit silly(not dumb and dumber silly just plain daft)
im sure it will make plenty at the box office and thats all that matters now in a series like this - keep your eyes open for the advance scr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first i cared about the rating change from the previous two releases, but then i thought about it and said fuck it.. it will still be good, just prolly less perverse. Oh well. I like spoof movies, (like spaceballs, men in tights etc.) and scary movie 3 is gong to be spoofing all the good ones released this year. I guess sit back and expect stupid and crude humor and you might dig this flick. that is if u dig stupid and crude humor to begin with.

i must agree.. scary movie 2 was prob one of the worst movies i've ever seen... thats for damn sure. the whole movie was rushed out to try and make a quick buck.

Whenever I have a worst movies of all time discussion, I always seem to forget to mention Scary Movie 2, probably because it's SO BAD that it doesn't even deserve recognition amongst the garbage.
Part 1 was pretty funny though, and the trailer for 3 is hilarious, the Michael Jackson bit, while probably really dumb in the actual movie, always gets the theater going during the trailers.

Didn't really like the first two but after seeing the trailer for 3 I wanna see that one.

No matter how bad SM2 was, I'm still waiting to see the third, and hopefully last Scary Movie.

I think a trilogy is more than enough for the Wayans. :-\

And, if you go by the word of mouth comments at the bottom, apparently theres going to be a fifth.

Eventually, they'll run out of good ideas... But, sadly, I would say I'd go see them all if they were to come out, simply out of curiosity.
