Kill Bill: Volume 1 *SVCD* - WORKPRINT - VideoCD

My Opinion , this copy is by far the nicest out so far. WideScreen. Sounded Excellent. Only thing that didnt make this that much nicer was the *Clear* watermark scrolling (property of). But hey i can live with it, this release will do just fine till Retail. Gj VideCD.

Love the nfo too , rofl

great SVCD...get this.

nuke why? it's internal and a proper.

but what I want to know is, what took them so fucking long? I woulda liked this proper last month

DEFINITELY download this copy and fuck all the rest. I saw the original shitty workprint with bad framerate, and the ONLY problem was framerate and real changes, both of which have been fixed in this release.

No framerate issues that the first workprints had and a good picture this is the best copy so far. Worth getting if you a fan of the film or haven't seen it yet but will absolutely not pay to see it at the cinemas.

Only viewed the sample but I'm getting the rest as we speak.

for a workprint remember 9/8/8.5

PS Slurman you seem to be the first person to post who actually seen this copy otherwise why no mention of framerate (Unless you didn't cath the first WP I suppose)
Bastard beat me to it.

This release pred days ago - it just now showed up on vcdq. Easily the best quality so far, thank god, wasn't impressed with the previous efforts.

Audio = 9 (It's VHS!)

Movie = Dunno, Haven't had time to watch it yet.

Great Release VideoCD!

The release pre'd days ago did it Chewsmoka? Funny, because the nfo has today as a release date.

I love know-it-alls!

Quality is nice....I saw it at the theatre and the movie kicked ass. Tried to watch the previous workprint and it's nice to have if you desperately want to see it again, but music selections were so important in this movie I think it's missing something when they are not present or are different in this workprint.

Hopefully the MPAA gets their shit in order and we get some DVD screeners.....they are talking about VHS right now. ;(

Yes, it did pre almost 2 days ago...

As for the sample, looks good quality - slight hiss when i turn up volume, but that could just be my TV.. I've not watched any other copies, been waiting on a better release..
Clear, Crisp Audio with a slight hiss as mentioned (only when loud though), Video is good..

8/7/?

after getting the opium release i watched once, but the framerate problem was really annoying, this fixes that nicely!

Video - 9 (remember its a workprint!)
Audio - 9 (very clear)
Movie - 10 (kick ass)

My greatest thanks go out to videocd for this, I make it my release of the year!

Framerate of the original workprint that was released was hideous, looked like a very badly done pal->ntsc job! It made the fight scenes absolutely horrible. VideoCD are doing damn well of late, this is a great release, just as good audio as the prev workprint and far superior video.

Is the music in this version the same as in the movie version?

8/8/x judging from the sample.

Yeah i did, sample seemed slightly out of sync to me (hope the whole copy isnt :/) but, video and audio appeared to be much better than in previous releases.

Keep up the good work VideoCD.

8/7/8

Posted by Nusphere on 10-24-2003 02:49 AM:

um

to be honest, i don't notice much difference in vid. quality, just the fps is better. audio sounds the same as well.
7/7/9

The SAMPLE is interlaced, although this is deffo a different source tape. Very clean and sharp.

A VERY worthwhile release.
