Repack

Is this just a patch or a whole repack?

Posted by firefighter on 11-07-2003 05:40 PM:

Signed off early last night and missed the Original Pre , woke up just in time for the Repack. Great Speed on the Repack TCR. Besides dark around the edges and dark flickering the picture is great. The sound is alright also , much better then the CAM. Seen this in theaters and dont think ill watch it again till retail , very disapointed in the movie itself. Great CGI , plot sux imo.

7/7/5

Repack of just the first CD.

Nice Job in getting that out quick TCR.

I'm downloading ths mofo right MF'N now as a matta a fact. lol

Not to bad, Vid does deserve a 7 even though the flicker is terrible at least in the sample. Most people would say it's not terrible, But I have weak eyes, So it kind of hurts em. But well worth it. lol.
This rls is NO where near as good as the German rls, which I viewed the samples back to back. Audio was very understandable, and not bad I also give it a 7.

Thanks for the repack. I really appreciate it, I will get this copy and watch it give it away and keep the next rls. Ya know. No i haven't seen the movie yet.

i have to agree nice job on the quick repack, video is great audio is nice and clear kinda hissy but not bad

7/7/8

it was a good movie, and i think everyone should see it in theatres cause no TS no matter who releases it will give this movie justice

Posted by XboxFreak on 11-07-2003 09:44 PM:

Nice release, good picture and sound. Movie is definitely not worth a 10 as some people rated it.

8/8/8

Only reason i gave the movie an 8 was becuase the last 30 min were real good besides that i would have rated it a 5

Good quick repack

7/6/6

Video : 7 : MUCH better than CAM (imagine that), but during high motion scenes the encoding makes itself apparent. If you can stand a slight flicker, it's more than enough to tide anyone over until a screener or dvd-r is released.

Audio : 6 : Good audio, wish it had been a little bit crisper, but at least you don't hear the guy eating his popcorn all movie!

Movie : 6 : OK. Not as great as I would have liked, but it sure wasn't as big of a letdown as TPM and AotC was!

nice quick repack, my 2nd fave telesync group

same as before

8/8/8

This is a good ts and better than the Kill Bill rls by TCR. Sound is very clean and the video has pretty good color to it. Yes, the slight flicker can be a little annoying but not enough to ruin the experience of watching it. I recommend grabbing this rls.

7/7/7

The movie has virtually zero kung fu and jaw-dropping fights like 1 and 2 had, but for sci-fi fans 3 has some good war action and explosions. I like that 3 doesn't have a typical fairy tale ending like say... Return of the Jedi or other movies.

Centropy hasn't done a good ts since T3, so I don't see how people can even talk about them in the ts scene anymore. TCR is on top right now with a constant flow of watchable movies. I hope they stay around. But, yes, it would be great to have Centropy back and putting out movies like they did early in the summer... theirs were the best.

Great repack , quality was good , alittle dark, but the movie was dark. I hated this movie with a passion , dispite the action sceens this movie blew like a 2 bit hooker in a nikle arcade. What a let down , what a waste of time . I am just glade I didnt give any money to the makers of this tripe , lets hope they dont try to make more of them. Cause if they do I wont even d/l them cause the makers suck so bad I wish I could sock um in the face, then I would feel better.

For faksake I hated this movie , realy!

I couldn't agree more with your assessment. This was the most disappointing trilogy I can ever remember seeing.

As for the TS:

Video 7.5: TS's by nature will have problems. Usual suspects are motion blur, flicker, heavy cropping and bad angle. This one had some flicker, however, on the standalone I found that most of the flicker was gone. This is a very good picture, clear, and without excessive cropping.

Audio 6.5: Audio was clear, but very hollow and with low gain

Movie 4: Ugh! I could go on for an hour talking about what a disappointment this movie is. Watching the last 2 you realize the writers just got lucky with the first one. We waited 4 years to see this horrible conclusion to a movie that had so much promise. Shame.

Posted by iceblink on 11-08-2003 03:51 PM:

if they would redo cd2 as 2 separate cds i'm sure it would remove a lot of the blockiness from the actions sequences.
cd2 is 80mins cd1 only 40mins (although windvd says they're both ~1.5Mbs Mpeg2)

EDIT - this may be incorrect, the timing on my dvd player behaves strange for this movie.

alternatively reduce the bitrate on cd1 to get 60mins increase it on cd2 to reduce to 60mins - the action scenes need improvement
to be watchable.

good fast release nonetheless

Posted by Bravo on 11-08-2003 04:30 PM:

I thought the picture was very good. Minimal flicker when played on standalone. Sound was decent with little background noise.
The movie itself was a letdown from the first but better than the second. There was no way this movie could live up to the hype the first one created. NO WAY! I thought it was a good movie and recommend it to anyone wanting to see a good action flick. If it didn't have the matrix name on it, it would be talked about as one of the greatest movies in along time.

And the Oscar goes to " T-C-R"

Great release and quick repack of a great movie. Top quality from TCR once again.

Video - 8
Audio - 8
Movie - 8

Posted by Stranger516 on 11-08-2003 08:21 PM:

They really trashed this trilogy with these last two releases.

Did not like the movie!

Video - 6.5

Audio - 7

Movie - Sucked 3

Posted by Panacet on 11-08-2003 08:38 PM:

Based on the first CD this release is much better than the CAM.

7/8/4

The video is a little dark, but good overall.

The audio is good, and very clear.

The movie is just bad.
