still dope flick, will be good for fam to watch on holiday...boom

Posted by Hrrrm on 12-24-2003 03:10 AM:

nice

yey this is the best rls i seen untill now
blur is surprisingly not disturbing much
its kinda weak blurred and not too big

audio is at its best, video is more than decent
this is the kinda movie u should go see in cinema, but when u think about it - thats what the matrix planned you to do
so get out of the matrix and leech this baby for christmas

8 / 9 / 8

8/9/7 excellent audio, decent video quality, best release so far. i didn't find the movie to be as bad as many have considered it, at least it's enjoyable action, and u kinda have to watch to get closure on the matrix series. but i have the 3 cd videocd tc, shouldn't this have been a proper instead, i know that got nuked for cropping or something. oh well, gonna get this anyways.

*watching CD1 now*

first thing you notice about this release is the sound quality, VERY nice the picture is clear but seems like its running at about 15fps as some of the movment is quite robotic. the picture is clear but a little dark

and im suprised everyone else that voted hasnt commented on the MASSIVE blur across the bottom of the screen, its about the same size as subtitles would be, it hasnt botherd me so far, but if it gets bad il come back and edit my post.

these scores are baised on what it is.... a Telecline

7.5/9.0/4.0 -

The only reason I didn't mention this blur in my post, is because unlike other blurs, it's not bothersome ... weakly blurred, maybe some other groups should try this method, 'cause I've seen some other groups try to blur out shit, and it makes the movie unwatchable, this one isn't ...

in fact, it's very watchable ... and a shout out to pHo for not liking the movie ... different ppl, different tastes!

I don't know about yall, but this to me looks just like the mpt (i believe that was the group) that released a tc a while ago with the subs blurred out. Anyone else see that?

Well, assuming that this is a totally new rel i would give it a 7/7/5.
This movie sucked, I loved the first one and i even really liked reloaded, but this one sucked, it was a little more than not living up to the hype too.

" the framerate was converted from PAL to NTSC. It was JAPANESE release with the subs under it. it was a new release. they did all the blur, and the audio work

the framerate was 3:2 pulldown down to 23.9FPS but Internally syncing to 29fps

the same for the audio. was converted from 25fps upto 29 soit could sync "

i was talkin to the guy they gave thanks to in the info. he told me

VERY NICE TELECINE

First off all the little kids on here..that say the movie sucks..just didn't understand the concept of the matrix anyway..just wanted to see some special effects..Grow up... This movie I will have to say ended horribly.. The movie itself was great...just terrible end to such a promising trilogy...
But to my review of this telecine..is pretty nice...the blur isn't so bad..because of such a great job on the pic and sound..makes up for it...

Video..I give it a 8....would have gotten higher without the blur and the traditionally WB intro missing.
Audio...10..its perfect..don't bitch about it ..its perfect nothing else..
Overall...9...great release....the movie is good..just disappoints you on the ending..otherwise good telecine..thanks ThP

im just wondering, whats up with the screen aspect ratio, does the actual release look so stretched?

x/x/8.0

2 things ...

I don't think that MPT has ever done a telecine in their life, they are just starting to get the hang of Telesync's ...

and lastly, I think that every "telecine" release in svcd format has been nuked, and this one hasn't ... wouldn't that make it an original release? ... I dunno, I enjoyed, as did my fiancee'

I've been seeing more and more requests for it ... werd

Posted by BiggD23 on 12-24-2003 08:01 PM:

To those that have seen this release already...how often do the blurs on the bottom of the screen appear? Every 5 minutes? 10?

And I know this is a dumb question...but what it the difference between telecine and telesync?

Posted by superman on 12-24-2003 09:52 PM:

mpt never released a tc for this movie or any other movie yet. it was a videocd telecine which was nuked for cropped video. btw this release is also 3 cds so the admins might wanna fix that.

Well, MPT did not do the release on their own, but they did release it a group (don't know which on it is off of the top of my head) released a dvdr telecine. then mpt got it and converted it to a svcd. it is not on vcdquality though, but it was on my site, i watched it a few days ago, i know what i am talking about here. and this looks exactly like it with the subtitles blurred out, nothing more. well, i thought the movie sucked.... werd.

Posted by AnneraX on 12-26-2003 05:40 PM:

better versions out there

The movie was o.k. at best, probably the worst of the three. This encode was not that good either. 15 fps didn't work for me and the subtitles didn't have to be blurred out. CD3 audio is out of sync when burned.....

Video=6
Audio=6
Movie=6

Posted by lemon-lime29 on 12-26-2003 06:03 PM:

it wasnt at 15 fps...

Posted by crackerjax on 12-26-2003 06:51 PM:

might want to try a reburn on CD3, I had no issues with my CD3 being out of sync ... possibly the player too, I've had issues like the before too.

just trying to be helpful
