waited for a good rls and now i see one

voting as a TS
8/8/?

edit:
the jpeg u posted looks a bit stretched like ar is bad, but actual mpeg sample isn't

Decent release.. Video a little foggy but nice pic.
audio was decent.

7/7/?

Posted by sYph0n on 12-27-2003 01:50 AM:

this stretched jpeg pic is "normal". ntsc svcd format is 480x480 and if u open it in a player that DOES NOT handle this file automatically as a svcd like PowerDVD or so, it shows this movie in 480x480. a quadratic image. Windows Media Player for example does so.

Bitrate: 1.450 Mbps

Squares B-GONE!

Chess anyone?

Posted by Bradleyko on 12-27-2003 02:39 AM:

video is quite sharp little grey haze over it if u will nothing bad

audio is pretty good little noisey but good.

dont be deceived by the jpg it looks nothing like that stretched AR look it imposes

bah... from sample:

mega motion blur... very hallowed audio... hazy/blurry as all get-out picture and seems 'dull'...

7/7

it is watchable but not deserving these 8's i see everyone giving it.

Posted by lemon-lime29 on 12-27-2003 02:52 AM:

i definately think that the audio kick ass compared to the other release that is out there.

The video looks good, but your right it's a little blocky. One thing i did notice was that the movie was like 113 minutes.

they had to strech their cd-r's to the max. So i guess that would explain why the bitrate is low....

overall i think it looks pretty decent...

The reason its so blurry is because it seems zoomed in alot, some scenes have chopped off heads and such. Other than that a good TS.

Ok, first off, this copy is not MUCH better than mpt's release, but indeed it is a proper (in my eyes and ears at least). Havent watched this full release yet, but honestly if you have mpt's release, u could stick with that. Screener might not be too far away.

:::JUDGING BY SAMPLE ONLY:::
video - 7.5 (colors are fine, but a bit fuzzy)
audio - 8 (good sound, but not perfect)
movie - 9

::EDIT::

ok, ALMOST burned cd1, but i figured fuck it, ill convert to mpg and check it real quick .... and what did i find out ............. EXACTLY THE SAME SOURCE AS MPT'S RELEASE!!!!
Thats just gay. If uve already d/led it, do what i did. Watch THP's on the comp, and watch mpt's on your tv, and u will notice every sound glitch, and people walkin over the video, are exactly the same on both releases.

Thumbs up

thank god for at least a release I watched ... good video (ok, a little hazy) and nice audio ... but other than that, good proper ... thanks for a watchable release ...

how can this be nuked.... the audio sounds better

and the video looks better in many spots...

maybe they got the source legit... people def think it looks better than MPT...

i dont think it should be nuked at all.. but that's my .02$

MPT is just jealous that someone made a release better than theirs.... lol

So, it's bad for a group to take a movie and make it better, to give it better sound, and to call it a "proper" ... Hrm, I wonder what other groups do to make their stuff proper?

still the best release out there, haven't seen it nuked anywhere but here yet ... this will be the release I keep until dvd comes ... thanks ThP, looks like this vcd thing might be something I can get used to

(I voted before) ... still good to me!

Posted by villanovax on 12-27-2003 04:59 PM:

Though there are other possibilities, that possibly both were silvers, they bought the same, thp did a better job ripping it, and released it as proper? I mean, there are more possibilities?

Posted by Premiere on 12-27-2003 05:20 PM:

sucks ass verry blury and grainy. audio is good b ut still hollow. sounds like the audio was run through some filters then multiplexed back together with video. And to top it off they stole the source from another group. 5/6/8

NUKED!
