Not a bad release. Video is a little funny not to sure what it is. Audio sounds great. Movie was kind of funny.

Anyway, to be honest, I think all screeners suck balls. I've seen the sample of this, mystic river and last samurai and they all made me not want to watch them, they quality sucks. I stopped downloading TSs a while ago, they're all absolute bollocks. Screeners are almost as bad. I'll just wait for DVD-rips, disappointing screener season this year :|. Except I did get a lot of DVD-screeners like lxg and out of time a while back, they were good.

what are screeners egzactly, if its a dvd screener im sure they can rip it.. and if its a vhs screener, im sure they can rip it too

we need to make a ripping kit so people rip things better

depending on the copy-generation, quality will suck. if their source gave them a 2. or 3. copy from the orig. screener tape then its normal that rls will "suck". What I think is a bit annoying at this picture (you can see it at the sample-fix) is that the picture
does have some distortion-"ghost"lines all along the screen.

Does look like if your cable is not completely protected from enviromental influences. 6,5 for the pic.

anyways Screeners are amazing, I am really enjoying the burst of screeners. Good sound good Picture.amazing.

They are what we want in a bootleg, almost flawless.(as far as bootlegs go)

This is a great screener, good quality.

Yea odd lines, like a dvd player plugged through a vcr kinda lines ( macrovision). But to the comment above, the quality of these tapes will vary a whole hell of a lot depending on generation. Unlike dvd's that get copied exactly, each generatio of vhs tape suffers significant loss. Copying the original will yield a nice picture or pretty good one. Yet what we see from obus and these groups are prob nth ( 2nd or 3rd) generation ones as you see a lot of deteriarion within the quality. That or their capture cards are crap.. as it might be.

I like screeners, keeps me tied over until the dvdr's are released, keep 'em coming OBUS & TDi ... you got a lot of fans

notes on the movie, sound is alright, video is as good as you can get from an analog source to digital output ... and movie is funny, mos def watchable, grab it for some laughs

on a side note, not sure why ppl who obviously don't know what they are talking about try to tear down the release of a movie ... it's very apparent who on the forum has ripped / attempted to rip a movie and who hasn't ... it's frusterating to see stupid ppl talk down a good rip

i like the vhs screeners...in fact, i've pretty much replaced Ts's with them...

this is as good a vhs screener as the other ~10 this week...

heh we all like dvdrips and dvdscrs but not all is perfect.

Bootlegs are ugly to boot, but its the rls's job to rls it. Dont you think they do their best to find the best?
I love bootlegs saves me money, im not going to bash any kind of source if it be ts or scr. I love them both they save me money = )
And of course i replace the bad quality with the good.

So just be happy with what is there.! = )

i for one dont think every group goes out to find the best quality rip at all... i think most groups go out to get whatever kinda rip they can just to be first. i've seen some real shitty rips.... i think most groups go out just to find whatever they can before someone else does...

but then again there are some groups out there that only rls the highest quality... not everyone tries to be the first to rls shit.

man these screeners are the best thing going for bootlegers right now,all u ppl bitching should stop.............str8 out ,if you don't like the copy realsed then go to the theaters then u have perfect quality,me i'm just fine with my video out card and my standalone dvd burner,,,,,,,when burned correctly shit comes out damn near perfect quality(screeners)other then it's full screen...but who cares it's not like we all didn't watch them for decades be4 dvds.....

i didnt have a 53" beforea dvd...LOL

u'r right btw...many groups try to get the first rls out whih ends up in a pile of shit! thank god for tcf, ctp etc. who then release a proper. haha
oh and btw if its a good movie i bye a DVD...to support the people who made it!

I dunno, I already voted on how I liked the movie, it was good ... releases are good this time of year, if you've already been convinced that vhs screeners suck, then don't download them, and more importantly don't pitch a fit about the release here just to get attention, shut your damn mouths then and wait for the dvd scr or the dvd retail ...

video...8...true vhs screener from the intro on..
audio...9...loud and clear baby...good shit..
overall..8...this was a good ass movie..will definitely hold this copy until a dvdrip is available.
