Subs need to be manually switched on for the Spanish dialogue (which there is quite a bit in this movie) otherwise you end up missing some of the story. Most of the extras seem to be on the disc too. Commentary from the Director, Deleted Scenes and several Trailers are amongst the extras included (No idea why the nfo claimed they were fully stripped). The only problem being the extras either play with no sound or crash your player. All the trailers, besides the ones for Desperado and El Marachi, played fine and with sound. I guess, like SWAT, there will be an R1 Internal release. So it might be worth holding out for that.

Overall 9/9/8

Good Movie, just not what the trailer promised it would be.

Angry Lack of forced subs

Nice post, it's a shame that during the Spanish speaking scenes there are no forced subtitles; you manually have to switch the English ones on and off.

Very disappointing for such a good quality rip.

Yeah it is a shame the subs have to be left on all the time, even when they're speaking english. Guess it's cos it's a crappy R3 dvd source. I guess the R1/R2 release will be better.

you think a fix of some sort might be possible for the subs thing??

thats quite dissapointing if youmust turn them on manually.

I was trying to do one myself, using subrip, str2sup and IFOedit, it all works fine on the PC, but when burnt to DVD, and played on a proper player, the subs don't show up at all. Same VOB's through Power DVD is fine.

Guess I'll have to read up on it a bit more.
