Well judging by the sample, small counter on lower right isnt to bad,but i dunno if it was me or not,but i noticed a blur across the middle of the screen, sound is nice...over all not a bad release...

7.5/8/??

damn my head hurts too many shots....

anyway nice proper really wanted to see this movie, heard it was funny.

hmmm i still hear a bit of a hiss, maybe that isme.

8/7/

audio on matine release is better it seems

it a hilarious movie. if u haven't seen it, it a must movie to watch .

8/8

I must say this was needed. I tried to sample the matine rls and i thought it was horrible. The lines and sound just killed it for me.

Props to TCF for a very nice release. The quality is very good for a vhs source. There is a small counter in the lower right hand corner which is no big deal. As far as audio, i do not hear anything that would annoy anyone. Everything comes out clear with maybe a slight oscillation.

I give it a 8/9/8.
Movie is pretty funny, especially if you like Black Jack. Most likely appeals to kids or the kid in ya.

Well I guess I spoke to soon when i said nice video. The movie does look good through most of the movie until you reach 44mins 52s or so into cd2. At this point an error message with black background takes over the screen leaving only audio. The error message as follows:

"Avisynth: caught an access violation at 0x014f5c55,
attempting to read from 0x04d5b000"

Looks like cd2 will need to be redone or entire movie.

nuked ending has audio but no picture...

Posted by hellraiseruk on 01-01-2004 05:19 PM:

I think both rls are good and worth watching but tcf are the masters at screeners

watched the sample and looks pretty sweet..can't wait to watch it

Thx tcf & matine..great stuff..hope to see more in 2004

Posted by Dupey on 01-01-2004 05:33 PM:

matine's had too much pixelation, video was garbage. this release is alot better, probably best it can be for a scr.

8/9/6.5

DAMN i cant belive its missing the ending i was looking forward to the whole rls it looks kickass
but its a shame that it doesnt got an ending

Video : great much better then mantines it looks like they both had the same source seeing as they both have counters in the same spot

Audio : its great too but not much of a diffrence you could've just turned down the treble on ur t.v. on the mantine rls

Movie : fantastic loved every minute of it. great comedy for anyone at all.!!

8/8/9

Not bad quality at all for a vhs. Video is crisp and clear. Audio has a slight hiss to it nothing to worry about. Missing video on cd2 so its nuked everywhere and no need to download. Wait for a repack or a real proper.

pretty good release all in all ....definately worthy of the proper cuz matinee's release was not near as good . And the sound was loud to me but very clear and video wise it was pretty tight .I hate jack black but found myself enjoying this 8/9/7

im fucking pissed off, i download this cause its suppose to be a proper and I watch it and the fucking ending is missing. what kind of a proper is that? no offense TCF, you're a good group, but when youre watching a release with your family and the ending cuts off, it REALLY sucks.

other than that, this release wasnt that good, audio was meh, picture is really pixlated.

school of rock seems to be like The Hulk and SWAT...it only takes about 5 tries to get it right.

Quality film

For a film its brilliant, perfectly watchable, brilliant audio and just awesome.

I saw the sample of the matine rls which was horrible. This was a lot clearer although there was slight distortion of picture due to the fact its a vhs screener.

Cannot fault the sound throughout the movie that was just perfect

overall the film kicked some serious ass and Jack Black is a legend!

6/8/8
