from the sample, better than the UTI release, about the same quality as OBUS' other release of the last samurai

Hiss speakers must be fux0red. No hiss here.....AR looks wierd in some players put probably just me.

i loved this film and this screener ist definetly better than the Telesync from DND.

video is as expected from an analog source ... see it getting nuked for "being cropped" ... that's a bunch of sheep nuke bull crap, keep 'em coming obus, the masses are happy!

I'm sorry but I have to agree with 'Academy Junior' about the hissing, whilst watching the movie, I too noticed a terrible hissing then realised that our rattlesnake hadn't been fed for a couple of weeks, this might explain it.

After watching this release i hadn't noticed any hissing type noises though i did notice the sound comes out a little hollow, but still really good. The video to me, is a little to blurry for my likeing. Definitely makes it hard to make things out in the background of the movie. It's really a shame too, since i really like the movie.

Good screener, brightness/contrast is bit mucked up but can be easily fixed with tv settings will grab this as i have been waiting a while for a good version.

I wasn't going to respond to this but you do sound like a right good son to me.

I think I'm a good sister since my sister keeps bugging me to get movies for her and I have been taking her requests and getting alot of what she has asked for so go me as well!

did obus find out how to make their releases 100% vcd compliant yet? or still no go on philips players and certain other brands? i'm not going to bother with their non standard stuff anymore i'll wait on the dvdscr or even dvdrip....
