That's why i hardly ever get bhp releases, most of there rips are hardly any better than svcds. they always downsample the movie and leave the extras untouched! they need to downsample the extras or strip them so the movie can have a higher bitrate.

Rant over..

nforce nuked this saying just "not working" however if the only problem is the subs...i wouldnt exactly call it not working. Anyone know?

Posted by JoshNya on 01-24-2004 01:27 AM:

Works fine. Movie was just ok... nforce nukes alot of stuff, their retarded.

Posted by WGM on 01-24-2004 06:35 AM:

Movie has very good quality, but i agree, is better to strip extras and not touch the main movie video quality, movie plays fine although subs are indeed out of synch.

*2 sides to that coin* *Can't please all the people all the time*

Two perfect clichés for that, but everyones entitled to their opinion.

The opposite quotes would be...

1. Whats the point of having a downsampled movie and a menu only? Only 1 step better then a svcd. Plus 4000 avg is twice the quality of a 2000 avg svcd plus you get extras.
2. Only way to make a rip perfect is doing it to your own specification. Because I'm sure someone would state what I just did in #1 if they done it your way.
3. Most groups try to bring us untouched video, but can't always be done. Faster to rip and release, so why recode if they don't have to?

In closing...

Pre groups only have a small lenth of time to figure out how their going to do things, or they will get beat, and all is lost. Be thankful you even have access to it.

/me tries to stay bias in this age-old arguement.
