Nice pre. Looks like a screener or a workprint though rather than a ts. It's got tracking lines at the bottom.

probably just a cheapo vhs cam was used is my guess

definitelly a telesync

Posted by steviefranchise on 02-01-2004 10:56 PM:

man this is one of the best TS I have seen this past 12 months. If only other groups start following suit and stop doing silvers and other crap just to be the first to win races. The white lines are a bit of a nuisance, but its more than acceptable. I'd take those white lines anyday over some of the other crap that is out.

Great Job ToF lets hope for some more in the future!

Posted by KrackZaa on 02-02-2004 05:23 PM:

yeah this really is impressive, picture is very clear, but a little devoid of color, but the sound is extremely impressive, fully clear, has bass, great work here guys, great pre, dont know how you got axs like this but i hope you can continue this quality of a release. as for the movie it has colin farell, so ill check it out.

9/10

WOW

Damn! I mean Whoa! Its really hard to believe this is a telesync if they didn't tell you or if it wasn't for the small, tiny lines...I'm sorry this is the best telesync I've seen in a long damn time. Its great in everyway, sound and pic. Keep these type of telesync's coming...beautiful. I didn't want to post until I got the full release and watched it. Movie was actually good..will watch again later..
And not to sound like a idiot. But did anyone notice that this telesync had the full end credits and a complete intro. And no camera movement. I mean damn! This is the best telesync ever!

9/10/9 Good movie..hope its not overlooked.

it was released in some uk cinemas on 28th November 2003 but full wide uk release is January / Feb 2004.

and US cinema release is 19th March 2004 so about a 2 month pre, damn nice.

Great release all the way around IMHO.Keep them coming like this one guys, good pull.

so this one is labelled TS? You must be kidding! It has screener quality! Everything is perfect - video as well as audio. the only disturbing thing are the white lines that appear on the screen from time to time (expained in the nfo, but just because they explained doesn't make it any better).

video - 8
audio - 10

the movie itself is great. It's not a Hollywood movie, so it will be totally overlooked, I am sure. Just check the irc for sources of this release - hardly any sources. And I am sure hardly any people outside of Ireland will go to the theatre to see it. Which is a shame, 'cause this movie is intelligent and definitely worth watching, esp. 'cause Collin Farrell is in it, he hasn't got a major part, but that doesn't matter, his acting is as great as always. My rating is 9 for the movie itself.

One piece of advice for non-english/non-irish speakers: don't be afraid of the Irish accent, after appr. 10 min. you'll get used to it, even if English is not your mother tongue, you'll still be able to understand it.

Btw, there's as always a problem with the videocd! seems the groups will never learn to make working videocds. Everytime I klicked the backward button on my remote control, the movie jumped 2 minutes FORWARD! Clicking the same button immediately afterwards several times did the trick, but after some time the shit happened again. Either there is a problem with the cue files, or with the videocds as a whole. The best solution in such a case it to reencode the bins to mpeg2 using vcdgear, i.e., if you've got enough harddisk space.

the sourse is defo ts, the colours easily give it away, but yet it certainly would pass as a screener in my book.

white lines dont appear that often and as i watched this movie after about 10 mins i forgot about the lines

as for irish language some people are hard to understand... like there is an irish dude in that movie called lucky break and i couldnt understand him and how he speaks but then u get some other actors and they are way harder to understand, just take a bit of getting use to i guess eh

EDIT.. Just tried to skip backwards on my players (philips and pioneer) and the movie perfectly skips both backwards and forwards on both of my players.
